#if you wanna look crazy to late night commuters

I saw a post in here about a guy's dad telling him of a friend's tactic to wear sunglasses with one lens out on the nyc subway during his late-night commutes because it was better to look like the crazy one, and I just... Guys. That's not why we did that.
It's so one eye each is adjusted to emerging through the light-dark-light of the subway/bus terminal and whatever street alley shortcuts you gotta take—you'll see anything coming at you. You'll see the business-exchange corner to avoid, step around the glass, maybe get blinded by a billboard or some high beams, but you got both eyes adjusted, and you'll make it home just fine. No cats, no rats, no snakes, metaphorical or otherwise, and you're not walking with that scared blink-shuffle that gets clocked a mile away by someone looking for their next target. But if you see them first? Opportunity predators don't like being spotted, they're scavengers not attackers.
You know how you lay in bed and look at your phone with one eye in the dark, the other eye squished in the pillow? You know how that bright ass screen burns 'cus you're either just waking up or should have been asleep? You know how you eventually sit up or put your phone down and open the other eye and it sees EVERYTHING in your dark-as-shit room? That's what the one lens is for. Especially when you get off at a dark stop after the bright bus lights or a lit platform that lets out at a dark corner.
Maybe if you sprinkle yourself with whisky, or randomly yell conspiracies, or harass other riders or something, but wonky sunglasses by themselves is what y'all think crazy looks like? On a late-night commute? That's all it takes? Guys. You're on Tumblr. Come on. ❤️
#its out of love#yall crazy#just kidding#about the crazy#not the glasses#that's a real trick#you get off the bus/train and walk into a dark street BAM gun to face#you get off the train and walk up the dark stairs into blinding lights#knife to side boom#you didnt see the trap#whoop there it is#is always a trap waiting#you make eye contact though#eye contact#will save you#opportunity predators don't like being spotted#they're easily intimidated#they stake out the same areas#so you just go ahead and keep your head down#one eye closed just in case#glasses on#and get yourself home safe#if you wanna look crazy to late night commuters#you gotta try harder than that

you’re the one that i want (part 24)
word count: 5k
fluff
(part 23) (series masterlist)
it was crazy how long days used to feel during this time just last year, after winer break started and the draining third and forth marking periods of school started.
usually, you’d be crumbling.
working your hardest to maintain your grades while also dealing with a toxic home environment. you loved school because it served as a safe haven away from that but it also drained and exhausted every bit of you.
but four months of your life now passed by unbelievably fast and you were handling everything well, good people around you that made schoolwork just a little more tolerable.
when you were struggling with math, mingi would help you during lunch. if you needed someone to test you with flashcards, yeosang would reward every correct answer with a piece of food. when a particular teacher gave you shit for anything, wooyoung was quick to cause some sort of chaos even if it meant getting detention.
and when everything just got too overwhelming and you never wanted to look at another book again, seonghwa was quick to clear your desk and drag you to bed. lay you down and hold himself above you until you were smiling and giggling as he pecked kisses down your neck.
you think it was solely because of him and the others and your aunt that june came so fast, only two weeks left of school and everyone buzzing with excitement; even with the whines and arguing coming from your lunch table.
“you’re really gonna make us stay in a hotel for the whole summer?” wooyoung asked, looking at seonghwa with distrust and hurt in his eye. “i thought we had fun at your house that time.”
because with only two weeks left of school meant only two weeks left of you and seonghwa commuting back and forth.
of seeing wooyoung, san, mingi and yeosang every day who have really grown to love this dynamic; so much so, they’ve been all but begging to spend the whole summer there with you two.
but to no one’s surprise, seonghwa wasn’t for the idea.
“no, you guys had fun. i was one second away from flinging myself off a fucking cliff.”
“that’s not fair,” san whines.
but the dirty blonde only quirks an eyebrow and asks if it was fair that he had to sleep on the floor on his own bedroom every night. or be rudely woken up and forced to make breakfast. or share his girlfriend and-
“no hotel, you guys could always stay with me,” you interrupt sweetly, a small smile on your face that only widens when you feel seonghwa glaring at you. your head cranes over to look him up and down, a smirk crossing your face as you shrug your shoulders carelessly.
“what?”
“yeah, what?” wooyoung asks, mimicking your higher voice causing you to narrow your eyes at him.
“really? what?” seonghwa asks, annoyance and exasperation in his tone. “i don’t want you burning my girlfriend’s house down, that’s what.”
“girlfriend, this. girlfriend, that. we all know you have a girlfriend, okay.”
“what? girlfriend? i don’t have a girlfriend.”
everyone’s heads snap to the side when a new voice stammers those words out, yeosang finally arriving and standing there looking incredibly panicked and guilty.
it makes you in particular cock an eyebrow, the other boy’s “where the hell did you come from” and “we know you loser,” quickly turning back into whines and protests to seonghwa.
but for the the rest of lunch, you could only focus on how...odd yeosang is acting.
peeking at you every now and then before smiling awkwardly, checking his phone and trying to hide his smile, needing mingi or san to repeat themselves several times because he just seems so dazed and out of it.
when lunch ends, seonghwa is quick to stand up and grab your hand as per your usual walk to class together. but you take your hand from his hold and place it on his arm, standing up on your tippy toe to peck his cheek.
“can you go without me?” you ask softly, using a voice you know will always get him. “i wanna talk to yeosang for a second.”
“oh?” he mumbles, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear casually. “what about?”
“i don’t know, he was acting strange,” you say quietly, turning to see him gathering his stuff and checking his phone once more. “i wanna make sure he’s okay.”
the dirty blonde looks to yeosang and hums quietly, looking over his friend who meets his gaze.
“what?”
“why are you being a weird fuck?”
“seonghwa!” you squeal, smacking his chest before quickly ushering him away.
he lets out a loud chuckle before squeezing your hand once more, telling you he’ll meet you at the end of the period and meeting yeosang’s middle finger with one of his own.
“your boyfriend’s such a dick.”
a small smirk crosses your face as you shrug, looking the boy over with a suspicious look in your eye. a look that he catches and turns an endearing but humorous shade of red because of.
“why are you looking at me like that?”
“because i think you got yourself a girlfriend,” you say, poking his arm as you two walk through the crowded, bustling hallways. he lets out a scoff before bumping into you, remembering to be gentle;
because the last time he did that, you smacked into a wall and he paid for it dearly - curtsey of seonghwa’s fist in his stomach.
“what makes you say that?”
“just a vibe,” you say, the sweet smile on your face morphing into a teasing one when he raises an eyebrow. “and you’re little ‘who me? i don’t have a girlfriend!’ was the icing on the cake, really.”
he stares blankly at you causing you to giggle, shrugging your shoulders as you promise you won’t tell anyone if that’s the case.
and it takes a little bit of persuading, just a pout on your lips before you remind him how mean he was to you when you first met for good measure.
“that’s not fair,” he sighs out, a smirk on your face as you shrug your shoulders.
and just as you knew you would, you find out he’s been seeing a girl for a few months. that they’re not official or serious, only having been on a few dates but enough time for him to really like her.
“she kind of scared the shit out of me at first,” he laughs out and you have to suppress the squeal threatening to leave your lips at the sappy look on his face. “she still kinda does but she’s also really fucking cool. i don’t know, i just like her.”
and once he sees the bright smile on your face, he knows he made a grave mistake.
“but don’t tell those shitheads yet, i wanna ask her out first.”
“oh? when you are going to? today? oh, my gosh and how?” you squeal excitedly, the initial budding of a romance something that always makes your heart soar. but it proves to only make yeosang roll his eyes, the sound of the bell blaring through the hall saving him.
“perfect timing,” he quips, your arm shooting out to push at him before he rushes down the hallway to his class.
“perfect timing.”
san narrows his eyes at you a few hours later at the cafe, a smirk crossing your face when you see wooyoung wave to you from the window; it’s almost the 6th shift in a row the boy has made him late for but he looks all too pleased with himself.
“he has no shame,” you hum lowly, giggling softly when you see a blush cross san’s face. “and neither do you, apparently.”
“stop,” he whines, hitting you lightly in the arm. “you have to be nice, we only have a few weeks left together here.”
because as much as you love san and this cafe, commuting during the summer would’ve been an absolute nightmare. and his parents had been the ones to suggest it, telling you they would never in a million years fire you but wanted you to enjoy your summer.
“and you can’t do that if you’re trapped in a car ten hours a week,” they said, before taking notes from their son and promptly pushing free cookies and cakes down your throat.
but you’re really gonna miss this place. even if you’re only away from it for a few months, it acted as a safe haven when you really needed one. was one of the only places where you’d have a smile on your face and not feel like your life was falling apart at the seams.
“what do you mean? you guys are staying with me,” you say, looking at him like a confused puppy in a way that makes him smile.
“seonghwa’s not gonna allow that.”
“well luckily, it’s not up to seonghwa. it’s up to me and my aunt.”
san bites the inside of his cheek to hold back his smirk, looking at you with a quirked up eyebrow causing you to mirror his expression.
“what?”
“just keep that energy when he’s around too,” the boy teases before his eyes dramatically bat and his face becomes one of a lovesick teen. “but seonghwa, pleaseee,” he whines, doing a lousy impression of your voice that makes you smack his shoulder.
but your fight and quarreling is quickly interrupted by the uncharacteristically abrupt entrance of bo-ra, the once shy girl coming out of her shell a little bit more everyday.
you were happy you were able to keep your friendship with them despite the fact they were at different school, always having at least two customers a day who you could guarantee would make you and san smile.
“you guys will never believe this.”
and right when bo-ra tells you jojo has been seeing a boy for a few months now, you almost don’t believe it. not only because of the crazy coincidence that yeosang, too, has been seeing a girl for the past few months but because it might be jojo.
it almost seemed as if the girl had sworn off any and all high school boys because they are “mean, idiotic assholes who think with the wrong, less impressive head.”
and yeosang being the one to change that perspective? you couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of it all.
how yeosang, at one point, was the exact description of that. how, really, all of them were like that except the sweet blonde throwing his head back in laughter at this information.
“no way, who is he? and what’s wrong with him?”
you both let out a snort and hit the boy playfully, bo-ra putting a finger to her lips as she looks at san chastisingly.
“stop it, they’re coming any second now! i ran ahead because i could not stand to watch them awkwardly bump arms and blush any longer. but act natural. pretend i didn’t tell you. in fact, maybe you guys should act like you don’t even-”
but the second the door rings open, san is up and over to them in a second. he’s so hot in pursuit he doesn’t even realize it’s the familiar brown-haired boy, teasing eyes on jojo as he greets them with a tray of cookies.
“i gotta give it to jojo, i never thought anyone would be able to-”
and it’s at hearing the lowly mumbled “shit,” under his breath that makes san stop talking, snapping his head over to see no other than yeosang looking at him with a half annoyed, half guilty expression.
“yeosang?”
the last two weeks of school for you, and mostly everyone else, were great. the work was light, the teachers were lenient and every single person was in good spirits and anticipating the fun and relaxation that came with summer.
the last two weeks of school for yeosang, however, were...disastrous. because not only was everyone giving him shit for having a girlfriend, they were chastising him for keeping it a secret.
“it wasn’t a fucking secret! i just hadn’t asked her officially yet and i wanted to wait until-”
“we went through this shit before and we’re not about to do it again,” mingi says, whacking the top of the brunet’s head before looking at you and seonghwa. “no offense guys.”
“none taken,” you giggle out as you shake your head, seonghwa rolling his eyes before pulling you into him further. you smile softly against him and meet his gaze, smirking at the look on his face and leaning up to peck his cheek.
it’s a look that only gets more annoyed and tense as the conversation goes into summer, his arm still tightly around you serving as the only thing to keep him grounded and sane.
the same way you’re the only thing keeping him sane now, you in the front seat of his car while wooyoung, mingi, san and yeosang all flail around and hit each other in the back. the trunk is full of suitcases and bags filled enough for two months because, of course, he had lost that battle.
“i’ll definitely be a better surfer, are you fuckin’ nuts?”
“no fucking way, you’re too lanky.”
“well you’re too short! did you stop growing at age eight?”
seonghwa looks over at you, a pained expression on his face at the juvenile conversation in the back and you can only tighten your hold on your intertwined hands.
look down and smile at not only the banter of the boys and your boyfriend’s utter annoyance but the way his hand holds yours so securely.
how they fit together perfectly as you trace your other fingers over the black rings and veins of his hand.
“it’s gonna be fine,” you tell seonghwa softly, surprised he can even hear you despite the chaos in the back. “they could always stay with me if you need a break.”
but he only looks over at you and shakes his head, bringing your hand to his lips before he tightens his hold on you.
“absolutely not, i could never put you through that.”
you let out a snort before wooyoung’s head is directly between you both, his arms on the console and neck snapping back and forth as he begs seonghwa for surfing lessons to prove mingi wrong.
and much to the taller boy’s dismay, wooyoung actually did prove to be the better surfer.
because after only two days of you guys going down to the ocean, seonghwa’s reluctant help in teaching him, though nowhere near as thorough as the lessons he provided last year, proved that the brunet was just somehow naturally gifted at it.
“how does it feel to fucking suck?” wooyoung laughs at mingi, watching the boy roll in clumsily after being knocked by waves. his wet hair’s a mess of tangles and seaweed and yunho can only watch from the beach with a frown on his face.
“he’s trying though,” the tall boy whines to you, a giggle leaving your mouth as you shake your head.
“i know, he really is,” you say, the two of you laughing again as mingi jumps up and tries to dunk wooyoung under water. you two watch as the shorter boy gets away, much to mingi’s annoyance, and he looks at you two with a dejected look.
“come here,” yunho yells down to mingi, his large hand flagging the boy over. but he only lets shake his head and tells him to go there, that he needs his help now and is gonna cry if he doesn’t.
and what mingi wants from the boy, he gets almost immediately. because you don’t know if you’ve ever seen yunho move so fast, rolling your eyes at how easy he gives in before you lay back down and enjoy the warm sun on your skin - but only for a few moments.
because then you feel a familiar pair of arms around you, your eyes shooting open just in time to see you’re being thrown over seonghwa’s shoulder as he’s heads to the ocean. you squeal and hit his back and tell him he better not throw you in but you don’t even have to see him to know there’s a smirk on his face.
he goes in until it’s waist deep before promptly throwing you down, the freezing june water making you squeal out before popping up with a gasp.
“seonghwa!”
“i’m sorry, baby, but i had to,” he whines, circling his arms around your waist. you narrow your eyes but welcome his touch anyway, even jump up and wrap your legs around his hips in a move you’re all too familiar with in this ocean.
“you really didn’t,” you whine softly but he can only kiss your salty lips and you smile against them, meeting the chaste, sweet kiss back immediately. your arms wrap around his neck when his tongue slips in just a little teasingly, pushing yourself further into him and smiling when he pulls back.
“it’s broad daylight,” his deep voice chokes out warningly, your one hand snaking down to trace the lines of his stomach teasingly.
“you started it,” you quip back playfully, trying so desperately to remember there are far too many people around to repeat what happened several times right in this ocean.
but how could you forget? especially with the scoffs and splashing coming from just a few feet away from you.
“hey sickos, i’m pretty sure you can get arrested for that,” yeosang yelps, seonghwa pulling away to sneer at him while you hide your face in embarrassment because he’s probably right.
you can feel the dirty blonde smile against your head as you hide in his neck, seonghwa’s fingers threading through your hair before pulling your face back to look at him.
he can’t help but snort when he sees the pink flush on your cheeks, knowing it’s not from the sun because he made sure to put sunscreen on you before coming down to the beach today.
“did you put on sunscreen?”
your face drops and the guilty look in your eyes causes him to groan. he drops his board and takes the black bag from his back, zipping it open and pulling out a bottle of sunscreen.
“here.”
and you already know better than to refuse, taking it with a wince and quiet “thank you.”
he watches you rub it over your arms and shoulders, feeling your cheeks warm as his eyes stay on you. “did you put some on?” you ask, in an effort to distract yourself from his piercing gaze.
but he only nods his head, picking his board up and dusting off some sand and dirt as his eyes remain on you. you squirt some more on your hand before giving it to him with a grateful smile, rubbing it in and then wiping the excess on your face.
“thank you,” you tell him. “i always forget to put it on which would explain why i’m a little-”
“missed some,” he hums lowly, his hand slowly reaching out so his thumb can rub in the lotion on your cheek.
he does everything so smoothly and nonchalantly while you inhale sharply, your lips parting and watching him with wide eyes. it was the first indication that his touch was gonna be gentle this week, his hands softer than you expected. his eyes meet yours when he pulls his hand back, raising his eyebrow when he sees your face.
“you good?”
yeah, i’m good, you think, i just have a handsome boy touching my face about to put me in cardiac arrest.
he plays the memory over in his head and can’t help but smile, your eyes catching his dazed look along with the softer look in his eye.
“what?” you squeak, cocking your head to the side in confusion.
“nothing,” he says, shrugging his shoulders before tightening his hold on you. “i just love you.”
because he can’t help but think about those times last year, when he was bitter and jaded and so closed off to feeling anything positive. it’d all been a mask, of course, but he’d worn it for so long he didn’t know if he’d ever learn how to be without it.
but that was until he saw you, started everything with you right here in the form of soft, guiding touches that lingered just a little too long and shy looks back and forth that should’ve made him realize this was gonna be the result.
him so easily telling you he loves you, with any and everyone around to hear him say it so surely. biting back a smile and feeling his heart lurch in his chest when your face softens and mouth drops open.
because even though you know he loves you, know that he says it several times a day and means it every time, it’s these random little moments that make your heart flutter the most.
when he’s saying it for no other reason than that he wants you to hear it, that he becomes fully consumed by the feeling just from watching you smile or feeling you against him.
but you still can’t help but blush as you softly tell him you love him too, his skin littered with water droplets and the sun shining behind him so devastatingly familiar and handsome.
your arms tightly wound around his neck before he twirls you around and nearly sends you flying under water, your giggle and seonghwa’s deep chuckle echoing through the salty air.
but it’s quickly cut off by another voice, one much harsher and not so giddy.
“jesus christ,” yeosang grumbles, you and seonghwa snapping your heads over to see him looking at you both. “please don’t tell me i’m gonna look this pathetic.”
“fuck off,” seonghwa snaps. but you can only smack him lightly and look at yeosang with a raised eyebrow, because you’ve actually seen him and jojo together and can confirm they’re just as pathetic as you two.
“of course you do,” you say, your eyes moving back to shore as a small, teasing smile crosses your face. “because look, jojo just got here.”
and the way yeosang’s face brightens and his head snaps to the side is the first indication you’re absolutely correct. his eyes roaming the beach and softly spoken “where is she?” making you feel just a little bit bad for lying.
the girls did, however, make it just a few days later for a weekend trip. yeosang greeted jojo just as pathetically as he feared to look, his arms wrapping around her body and pressing a kiss to her head like they hadn’t seen each other in months.
mumbled that he missed her and how pretty she looked and you had to turn your face into seonghwa’s chest so you didn’t squeal.
it was nice to see them both so vulnerable. when you first met them, they were harsher and colder, with walls not so easy to break down that always made them sneer in the face of love. made them question couples that made it seem like the end of the world when they were apart.
but now, they’re going through that dilemma firsthand with all the other couples, when talk of a girl sleepover and boy sleepover happen, san being looped into the former purely due to bo-ra’s request.
“what, no,” wooyoung whined, arm reaching out to pull the blonde back by the shirt. “he has to be with us. he’s technically a boy.”
“technically?” san asks, snapping his head to the side to look the pouting boy.
"but there’s already too many of you, yunho’s parents will go crazy,” you say, walking over and smacking wooyoung’s hand off the blonde. “and you get to see him all the time. bo-ra and jojo are only here for the weekend.”
“b-but,”
“i’ll be back to you in the morning, drama queen, since i’m only technically a boy,” san says, secretly far too excited with a night away from them; he loves his friends and woo but sometimes they get even a little too crazy for him, having grown used to spending all his time with you.
and of course, you don’t miss your own boyfriend’s reluctance to let you go but can only assure him with a sweet smile and teasing shake of the head before you all run inside and lock the doors.
it takes your aunt all of two seconds to fall in love with your new friends, a spread of dessert and soda in wine glasses (except for her own) keeping you occupied well into the night.
you all laugh until tears are in your eyes and your sides hurt, the boys just a house away hearing the ruckus through the open windows.
“do you think...they’re talking about us?” wooyoung asks seonghwa and yeosang, the dirty blonde rolling his eyes as yeosang’s mouth drops open.
“oh, my god do they do that?” the brunet asks, shock and horror in his voice as both boys turn to look at seonghwa.
the dirty blonde is tapping on his phone before he feels eyes on him, looking over to see his two friends staring at him wildly.
“what is wrong with you guys?”
“let’s sneak over. i can’t take not knowing what they’re laughing about.”
“what if they’re talking about our...”
another loud chorus of giggles and cackles rings through the window and it causes yeosang and wooyoung to shoot away from the window, paranoia quickly creeping up on them.
“shit! they’re they go again. what the hell could be so damn funny?”
“they must be getting details from jojo now,” seonghwa says casually, wooyoung snorting as yeosang’s head snaps to him in outrage.
and while you guys might’ve been talking about them a little, you’d never let them know that. you’d never let them know you actually shared about how sweet and thoughtful they could all be, even given their flaws.
but somewhere between talking and laughing and then going out in the pool, stormy clouds rolled in and before you knew it, rain and thunder was pelting against your window.
blankets and pillows were sprawled out across your aunt’s couch as you all laid there cuddled into one another, san’s head on your foot while your head rested on jojo’s shoulder.
it took one movie to knock them out and then another for last girl, now just you with the darkness and roaring weather outside quickly making you miss the boy next door.
you’d gotten used to having him every night; more often than not, you slept together and woke to one another and now you’re feeling just a little hypocritical for tearing wooyoung and san away from each other so easily.
because you’re quick to sneak away from your three sleeping friends, cover them with blankets and turn of the tv, before sneaking into your room.
one particularly loud crack of thunder causes you to jump, cursing yourself when you check the pockets of your pajamas and realize you forgot your phone downstairs.
“shit,” you mutter under your breath, about to turn around and make your way back down when you hear a knocking on your balcony door.
and then suddenly, your life feels very much so like a horror movie - no means to communicate with anyone, the howling wind and darkness outside, a mysterious knocking at a door that the character is stupidly going to investigate.
but maybe it’s because, somehow, you knew your soaking wet boyfriend was gonna be standing on the other side.
“i texted you,” he says simply, like he’s not standing out in the pouring rain or giving you a mini heart attack.
“you could’ve rang the doorbell!” you whisper-yell, pulling him inside before telling him to stay there. you run frantically around your room for a towel and an extra set of his clothes you ‘borrowed’ before throwing them at him.
“why did you do that, you’re gonna get sick!”
and despite your rush of adrenaline to save him, another crack of thunder causes you to jump and he can’t help the smirk that crosses his face.
“you’re really asking me that?”
“i told you i’m not scared of thunder,” you say surely, taking his wet clothes and hanging them in the bathroom before seeing he made himself quite comfortable in your bed.
it’s upon hearing another boom outside, shaking the house and causing a squeal to leave your mouth, that you quickly scurry in next to him. cuddling yourself into him and resting your head on his chest as he wraps an arm around you tightly.
he smiles against your head and doesn’t comment on the pounding of your heart against him, how any time a loud crack of thunder comes, you cling onto him just a little tighter the way you always do during a storm.
“i’m not scared,” you insist, a deep chuckle leaving his mouth as he presses a kiss to the top of your head.
“i know, baby, i just missed you,” he mumbles against your head, bringing your face to his so he can place a kiss on your lips. he tightens his hold on your hair when you deepen it, reach up and part of your mouths before moving up to straddle his hips.
and despite the growing hardness you feel underneath you the more you kiss, he never tries to take it further. you just kiss and giggle and smile against the others mouth until you rest your head back on his chest, the feeling of his hand rubbing your back and softly spoken “i’m here, baby,” lulling to the sleep despite the storm outside.
even though you’ll both be awakening to a different type of storm tomorrow, when wooyoung and yeosang discover seonghwa had snuck out and made his way to the house next door.

The Hoodie Problem
A wardrobe mistake costs you and Henry the privacy of your relationship.
-
“No,” you groaned as your heard the dreaded chiming of the Alexa alarm. “No, no, no, turn it off!”
“You have to say its name, dearie,” a tired Henry grumbled in response. You could feel him pull you tighter, deeper into his warm arms. “Alexa, stop the alarm.” The alarm stopped right after.
“It’s currently 6:20 AM. The weather in London, England, is currently 6 degrees Celsius and will be sunny for the rest of the day. There are no unread emails for your .edu or gmail.com account. One package, containing 3 makeup brushes and dog treats will be arriving to 102…’
“Will she shut up?” You groaned in response, turning back into Henry’s warm body. The room was freezing cold, and the dog had already gotten off the bed.
“I don’t think she’s done yet.” In a single second, the opening riff of Back in Black started playing. “Alright, love, you actually need to go.”
“No,” you grumbled. “Fuck class, I don’t wanna go to class. I hate it anyway, and I don’t wanna sit there and listen to my history professor talk about an asshole and defend his work when it’s already shit anyway.” Henry chuckled, sending another wave of heat through your body, making you want to stay even more.
“You won’t get to argue your vulgar point if you’re late.” You sighed and started to sit up, yelling at Alexa to stop playing music. “Go, darling, otherwise I won’t get out of bed either.”
“You’re such an asshole in the morning,” you responded, wrestling yourself onto the floor. A gigantic ball of fluff followed you, expecting his breakfast. “Can I borrow a hoodie? Left mine in the laundry.”
“Which you only did so you can borrow one of mine. They should all be clean, just find one that can cover the bruises on your neck.” You sighed, spying a hoodie from a charity Rugby match Henry had done the month before, and after slapping deodorant onto your under-arms you pulled it on over her sports bra. You hoped it would be enough. Quite honestly, you didn’t care who saw the hickies on your neck. Anyone who was going to see was an adult who should act like an adult about it. Your hair would have to do since it wasn’t too greasy, and after deciding just to leave it down, you finished up in Henry’s adjoining bathroom and walked back to the bedroom.
“Covered?” You asked.
“Yep. Leave me your keys, take the Merc, and I’ll pick it up from the shop after my workout, I want them to check the paint on the hood, too.” He looked you up and down, sitting up in bed as you walked over to give him a kiss.
“Thanks, babe.”
“You look beautiful,” he responded with a smile.
“I do not.”
“You do!” Without bothering to look at the back of the sweatshirt, Henry got out of bed and went into the bathroom. You yawned as the massive dog zoomed down the stairs, waiting for breakfast. Kal sniffed around as you set foot on the stair landing, probably wondering why your vanilla perfume was mixed with the scent of Henry’s strong aftershave. Truth be told, you were glad. It was a comforting smell.
“Be a good boy, Kal, Papa’s gonna feed you in a minute.” The dog panted in excitement and went to go stand by his water bowl, where he would inevitably drool for the rest of the time until Henry came to feed him. You placed your things from the dining room table, your makeshift desk, into your backpack, refilled your water bottle, and took a few seconds to exchange your keys with Henry’s keys. With another glance around the house, making sure you didn’t leave any chargers behind, you walked out the front door and began to adjust Henry’s car to fit your height. You felt like something was off, but you couldn’t describe it. Instead you went to go get your coffee and find a place to park before your frightfully early class.
“You look knackered,” a voice said behind you as you finally climbed out of the car an hour and a half later. It wasn’t the first time you’d borrowed one of Henry’s cars, but at least it was the humblest of the three he had. The McLaren wasn’t something he even trusted himself to drive sometimes, he’d finally gotten rid of the Clio collecting dust at his parents’ house, and the Aston was his precious baby you didn’t dare go near. But you were endlessly grateful he let you borrow the Merc. You just wished it wasn’t so flashy. It was ten times flashier than the seven-year-old Hyundai you’d inherited from your mother. Especially in the parking spot right in front of the building ten minutes before class where people could see you getting out of it. The voice who’d spoken was Anna, your best friend, and supposed roommate if you ever came home.
“Trust me when I say that man needs a new coffee machine, because I’m sick of having to leave the house at seven in the morning to go buy some,” you groaned in response, swinging your backpack over your shoulder. It was heavy as hell, but you were carrying most of your things in it because you didn’t have time to go back to your barely lived-in dorm room. Your other hand held your gigantic coffee, the biggest one you could buy because apparently British people preferred caffeine-free tea in the morning. People called you absolutely crazy for getting cold drinks when it was cold outside, too, but you didn’t care.
“You realize your neck is completely purple, right? I doubt an espresso machine is the reason you’re so tied.” You scoffed at Anna’s statement. In reality it hadn’t been crazy sex keeping you up for the past few nights – you’d been working so late that Henry came up to you the night before and wouldn’t stop biting at your neck until you agreed to come to bed, hoping it would embarrass you into having better sleeping habits. But sex was a much better story.
“Is it really bad?” You asked.
“No. Not from the front.” Anna started walking backwards up the building’s staircase, opening the door for the two of you. Your classroom was the first one on the left, a massive auditorium, because everyone had to take the History of Wagnerian Opera class for some stupid reason. You took your normal places in the bright room, taking your laptops out onto the desks. You fully expected to have to plug it in, but Henry, the ever helpful boyfriend, had plugged it in when he found it half dead the night before.
“Had a rough night, did you, Yankee?” Another voice asked behind you. It was Isaac, another student you’d been friends with from the moment you stepped on campus.
“What on Earth gave you that idea?” You asked as you took a sip of coffee. Isaac leaned closer, looking down at the back of the sweatshirt you were wearing. The hood barely covered the top of the lettering on your back. It read Cavill in white letters, and underneath it was the number 01. It was obviously customized, and well-loved judging by the fading English rose that was the logo for Henry’s favorite team. It was about three sizes too large, too, adding to the evidence that the hoodie didn’t belong to you. Isaac and Anna knew you were dating Henry, but most people had no idea. It wasn’t like you were hiding it, because you weren’t. Henry just wanted to protect you from the craziness that came with dating him, including paparazzi and prying eyes that would try to find their way into every little thing you did with or without him. You hadn’t signed an NDA or anything, but Henry was insistent on protecting you for as long as he could. You were fourteen years younger than him and he loved you dearly and nothing could change that.
“You do realize that the back of your hoodie says HIS name on it, don’t you?” Isaac said quietly, hoping no one else in the auditorium heard.
“What?” You asked in response. You could feel your face going red.
“It says Cavill 01.”
“Oh, shit.” You couldn’t take it off because the only thing you were wearing underneath it was a thin sports bra, and of course Henry’s car was so spotless on the inside that there was no chance of there being an extra shirt in there. Come to think of it, he’d been lounging around in the sweatshirt the night before. Shit, you thought. How could you miss it? How could you screw up that badly? What if this ruined everything?
“Oh shit is right,” Anna remarked.
“Does my hair cover it?” Isaac looked down at your hair. The lecture was about to start, but the thought of maybe losing Henry over a hoodie made you want to sit in the corner and cry.
“No. Neither does the hood.” You sank lower into the seat.
“Maybe people won’t care. Cavill’s a common last name here.”
“No, not really. And I think they will.” You sighed, crossing your arms against your chest.
“Just don’t mention it to anybody and wear your bag when you can. Problem solved.”
“I’ll get you something else later,” Anna cut in. In reality everyone already knew something was up. You had mentioned a few times, offhand, that you had almost moved into your boyfriend’s house and was commuting from Kensington. And you mentioned one day that he was an actor, much less that he was one of the most well-known actors in the entire world. Your phone had his name as Hank, and even though the connection wasn’t immediate, it was still enough to make someone think of the name Henry. Damn the British and their overly common name diminutives.
“I swear to God, I’ll strangle whoever even thinks about it,” you sighed in response, putting your head down until the professor started class. You didn’t need to take notes quite yet, and pulled up the messages between you and Henry. The last night it was just on my way, got the food! And you are an absolute angel. Drive safe. His name wasn’t completely revealed at the conversation.
We have a problem. Henry started typing immediately.
You didn’t crash the car, did you????
No, but that probably would’ve been better…
Please explain.
Promise you won’t get mad?
What’s wrong???
I picked up your hoodie from last night and it has your name on the back and it hides my neck but it has your name on it and there’s nothing under it so I can’t take it off and I’m freaking out because you don’t want people to know and I’m sorry, I just screwed up so bad. I’m such an idiot.
It’s okay. Calm down. You’re not an idiot. You’re an absolute moron and I love you anyway
I’m so sorry. I know you didn’t want anyone to know.
The only reason I didn’t want anyone to know is because I didn’t want anyone to make you upset because I’m stupidly in love with you and people will try to tell you otherwise. It’ll be okay. If they find out they find out. Don’t worry about it. Really.
I feel like an idiot now.
I’m sure you look better in it than I do anyway. Don’t worry about it, love. I’ll see you at home and we’ll figure it out.
Thank you.
I love you!!!!
Love you more dimples.
You smiled a little, sitting back into your chair and starting to type out notes about the dark undertones within Ride of the Valkyrie. For the rest of class, it was fine. But you couldn’t lie and say you weren’t nervous for your next class. Isaac wasn’t there to back you up, and Anna sat on the other side of the room because you always distracted each other. You were on your own, taking in the scent of Henry’s aftershave that was left on the sweatshirt from the night before. It helped you calm down at least a little, even if the name on the back made you nervous. You sat lower in the chair than usual, but it didn’t stop at least one person knowing.
“You like Henry Cavill too?” Elizabeth, the most annoying person on Earth (and a completely mediocre pianist with no sense of emotion who only got in because her father works for the royal family), said as she strained to read the sweatshirt on the way to her seat.
“Yep.” You tried to play it off and wipe out the conversation before it even started. Never before had you wanted to listen to your old white professor rant about other old dead white guys. “He’s a good actor.”
“I’m, like, so in love with him,” Elizabeth responded. Henry rolled his eyes every single time you said a word about Elizabeth, but you’d never tell her that. “Like, he’s just so dreamy.”
“Oh, yeah,” you responded without even thinking. “He’s gorgeous.” You didn’t even realize what you said until Elizabeth’s eyes danced with a grin that matched her mouth.
“You know him?” She exclaimed.
“I mean, um, yeah, my internship…” you tried to cover, but it definitely didn’t work.
“Shut up, you know him? Or, oh my gosh, is he the guy you’re dating?” You could tell that all of the color drained from your face and the room suddenly felt hot. You weren’t going to lie about it, but she would also be one of the first few people to know. And it wouldn’t be long before she blabbed her mouth to her followers.
“I heard he likes younger girls anyway,” Ellen, the girl who sat behind Elizabeth, said. That was the cue for you to realize that everyone else was listening, too, and they couldn’t just mind their business. Your hands shifted uncomfortably inside the pocket of Henry’s sweatshirt. The room was definitely getting warmer.
“Yeah,” you responded quietly. “We’ve been dating a few months and didn’t want to tell anyone yet. But you figured it out, so congrats.” You swallowed a lump in your throat. On the one hand you were glad that it wasn’t going to be a secret anymore. You didn’t want to hide how much you loved the curly-haired idiot who was too large for his own good.
“Oh my GOD!” Elizabeth said excitedly. She was a little too loud with it. You just turned back around and pulled out your phone, hands shaking from the anxiety of what Henry had said. He said you were good enough, but what happened when the world was able to judge you?
Well, Elizabeth figured it out. Not long until she spills to her 22 followers. And then their 22 followers.
At least I can post that picture you took with me on the beach…
The ugly one where I almost drowned after? Nooooo please!!!
Oh that’s not what I was thinking about, but now that you mention it, my fingers might just slip…
This conversation is DONE, fat Cavill! I swear I’ll punch the dimples right out of you.
You underestimate me, little one.
Cavill, this class is an hour long and I swear if I get out and you did something I will make you sleep on your own couch for the next year.
Guess you’ll just have to fight me when you get home…
With that, the conversation was over. Most people in the room didn’t seem to notice or care, but Elizabeth and Ellie did. Your friends didn’t for the most part, but you would assume some would turn on you. And you could tell that they were going to do whatever they could to make sure everyone knew that they knew before anyone else. It was strange to think that Henry was being so cool with it, that he wanted there to be a before people knew and an after. You shut your mind off and did your best to focus, even though it wasn’t very well.
You got up at the end of class and packed your things, ready to brave the library until your next class, but you exited the room and there was someone standing at the entry hallway. Henry. And he was holding another coffee in one hand, and draped on his other arm was a shirt. He’d never been in public with you without some stupid disguise on, much less to bring you coffee in between classes.
“Henry?” You asked, slightly too loudly. Elizabeth and Ellen turned toward you, but you blew past them to see Henry. He was grinning, from ear to ear.
“So apparently, according to the internet in the past few minutes I’ve been in the car, I’m cradle robbing. Apparently you’re Instagram-model material, which I could’ve told you,” he said. “I brought you another coffee for dealing with bullshit, and I brought you another shirt in case you want to change.”
“Can I keep this one?” You asked, looking down at Henry’s that you were still wearing. “And you didn’t post the bad picture of me yet?”
“No, I was waiting for your approval,” he responded. He reached for his phone and handed it to you, and it was opened to a set of pictures he hadn’t posted yet.
@henrycavill: The real Mission Impossible is getting her to stay still long enough to take a picture with her favorite old man. To be clear, though; she is MINE and I couldn’t be happier. I will sword-fight ANYONE to defend her honor!!
It was a series of five pictures, all of them the two of you together, some of them cuter than others, and you just grinned. You couldn’t believe he was okay with everything, and you couldn’t believe that he was actually standing there with you, braving the people in your class just to hand you a coffee and offer you a shirt.
“I love you,” you said quietly. He smiled in response. “Really.”
“I love you too. I don’t care who knows.” You laughed and hugged him tightly, even though he was still holding your coffee. “But I do want the Merc back, your car is outside.”
“Whatever you say, cradle-robber.”
A/N: I’m in an opera history class right now and it’s so frustrating that I’m definitely taking it out here. I hope the person who requests this loves it as much as I did because omg I love this 😭

As it turned out, Hange’s thesis wasn’t just about jumping.
But it would be nice to do it about flying. She had mentioned, echoing that same sentiment in those numerous interviews he had read.
A case study on the changes of an athletes body and muscle composition from preseason to postseason.
Levi only found out exactly what Hange and Moblit were doing for their final thesis as she ran through it with him over coffee the morning after they met in the lab. He had to admit, he had forgotten whether or not Moblit had explained that same thing to him which was probably just easily overshadowed by the pages and pages of waivers that had been laid out in front of him.
Hange had a different approach to the documentation. She had the same waivers that needed to be signed but had completely understood that no one would have that same drive to read the whole thing and consider the nuances and implications of every bullet point. She had just asked him to check everything and sign or she would not be able to work with him.
Compensation. Injury Insurance. Transportation Subsidy. Meal Subsidy
Levi quickly complied. In fact, he probably would have complied even without the benefits that came with participating in the study. He was already half way through mindlessly checking the boxes by the time Hange had mentioned those parts after all.
“Everything is funded.” Hange had explained. He knew their university was particularly well off. Being an athlete he had been a beneficiary multiple times of free branded shoes, gym bags jackets, meals and even gadgets with championship wins
The generous funding she had received to conduct the research was particularly seen in the well equipped sports facility where Hange was to conduct said research.
Cardiovascular endurance, strength power, speed, power etc. He listed the physical fitness components she wanted to study, the logistics of switching partners and starting anew completely forgotten.
It had been less than 24 hours since he visited her office and it was as if Hange wasn’t as deep into her research as Moblit had made it out to be.
She’s been cooped up in the lab lately, watching track and field videos.
She’s already been talking to Elijah, they did a few tests.
There was truth to what Moblit had told him. Hange did admit to having already the preliminary data needed for her case study but as Hange had shown him soon after they started talking, she had no problem just scrapping her data or giving it to Moblit and starting again from scratch.
As Levi soon found out, she was too passionate about her research to consider the preliminary data wasted work.
Levi had found that last part out after their talk in the lab after she had casually mentioned her lurker Instagram account on top of her blatant refusal to use Facebook and Twitter since too many social media sites were just too much to manage. He could not resist the urge to check the accounts she followed and just as he expected, they were all famous athletes from all different fields, the one thing common about all athletes being the almost inhuman height and airtime they achieved.
Nanaba Briete her friend and the subject of her high school thesis, was a volleyball player. Elijah Miller was a horizontal jumper. Moblit pointed out as well, her data for both players was too comprehensive beyond what was expected from someone of her level of study.
Levi soon realized with her YouTube and Instagram lurker activity, she probably was a stan and for some reason, he was one of the objects of her stanning activity. Levi had seen those types of people on Twitter and Instagram. They had weird voting conglomerations, used some sort of weird language and interacted incessantly with any post on the object of their stanning activity Hange was not vocal in particular, her Instagram profile and YouTube channels both empty. He only had to go through the profiles she followed to see that she left likes in most if not all pictures. Among those she had liked were profiles that reposted pictures of his jumps.
Liked by Wingsoffreedom132 and thousands of others.
Levi soon realized after hours going through most if not all the accounts she followed that just like the average stan, Hange spammed the like button like crazy
Looking deep into the comments of one of his jumps that year, he had found a comment from her. A pair of wings and a heart next to it.
How long has she been following him?
Did she have those dreams too?
“Why?”
“Why what?” Hange asked.
“Why me?” Levi continued.
“I told you before. You're amazing. Your forms are all perfect, your body composition is good and that crazy fast improvement from no name player to rookie of the year?" Hange seemed too sure of herself and glimmer of hope that somehow she had any inkling of their connection in Levi's dreams dissipated. She started to rattle off numbers relating to Levi’s height differentials and vertical leap every year since high school, Levi had to note that there was some truth to what she was saying.
High jumping events had suddenly become much easier for Levi when he moved to the city for college. He had attributed it to the more frequent training that came with the more competitive environment of collegiate sports. It was an ironic turn of events though since that was also around the same time he had started experiencing those painful mornings after dreaming things he could barely member. He chose not to mention that just yet. The connection was just too illogical to be a causation or even correlation issue. It might have even just been an irrelevant coincidence.
Levi continued to listen as she explained schedules and outlines for meet ups. There was preliminary data gathering, multiple tests to be done on weekends in a sports facility a little farther away from the school. There were a few more documents that needed to be answered and submitted similar to what Moblit had sent. It would be time consuming, inconvenient. The prospect of Hange being there made it somewhat bearable.
So bearable, that Levi had found himself arriving at the train station Saturday morning one hour earlier than they agreed upon. They were going to the sports facility for preliminary data gathering. To his pleasant surprise, Hange was already there waiting.
“I hope you don’t mind the shitty schedule,” Hange said in greeting. She was staring at the duffel bag Levi had slung over his shoulder.
Levi had to stay overnight. With the sports facilities being shared among multiple researchers and multiple athletes, Hange found the most she could secure for a last minute booking was an early morning slot, offering instead to provide lodging to Levi for a night so he wouldn’t have to take a taxi late night and early morning when the trains were already closed.
“As long as there’s a place to stay.” It’s still better than commuting at 3am.
“Let’s drop your stuff first.”
The sports facility was a 15 minute train ride and as Levi exited the station, he was greeted by a large building that stretched out a fair number of meters in both directions. Was that the sports facility?
That wasn’t their destination though. Hange guided him through a few alleys and out into a main street where a quaint mid rise condominium was located right to their left.
“My condo only has one bedroom so I hope you won’t mind staying on the couch. It has a pull out bed though so you wouldn’t be too uncomfortable.”
Somehow Levi had expected a hotel. “Wait, I’m staying in your place?”
The area Hange lived in turned out to be only 15 minutes away by train but oddly enough, it was Levi’s first time there. He found himself just gazing at nothing in particular but whatever was in front of him at that moment as they walked through the streets. They were going to have brunch in a nearby cafe, Hange had clarified. He found himself particularly entertained by the crowds, the grey pavement and the tall buildings that lined his view all making up the urban jungle of the center of town.
The university and the surrounding town where Levi spent a good chunk of his five years was located in a quieter part of the city which Levi had gotten accustomed to pretty fast when he moved there. He never left that area unless necessary for competitions or for schoolwork. Consequently, he was not completely used to the bustle at the center of the city,
They had settled into a diner in a small part or town with Hange offering to pay for the lunch. As soon as they had given their orders, Hange slid a document to him with the words “personal data sheet” written in bold on the top. “In the final output, you will remain anonymous, Erwin just requested we keep the basic data on everyone we study.” Hange explained.
Levi scanned the document before looking up at Hange again. By the way she had looked at him, Levi was sure she could have answered some of it for him. “Why don’t you answer it for me.“ He challenged.
“It’s your data Levi so I---”
“I wanna see how much about me you know.” Levi answered with a no-nonsense tone.
Hange turned red as she pulled the form back towards herself. She scribbled a few things on the paper. “Where do you live?”
Levi gave his city and province.
“I knew that much.” Hange admitted. “Exact address?”
Levi answered it briefly, spelling it out when needed. “How many siblings do I have? What are their names?”
“Trick question. You’re an only child.” Hange said, looking up from the data sheet.
“The number question isn’t a trick question. You can answer with zero.” Levi continued. He did not need to make an effort to keep his tone playful. He was amused already. “And how do you know about my family?”
“Interviews.” Hange answered briefly.
Levi smiled. “I know you’re an only child too.”
“How did you know that?” Hange asked.
“Interviews.” Levi could see she had relaxed, a small smile creeping up her lips.
“So you’re researching me too.” She asked.
“You started it.”
“Which city am I actually from?” Hange challenged.
“You grew up here…” Levi answered. He sat up a little straighter. Seeing the amused smile on Hange's face, Levi felt it was a good time for other questions. His mind raced as he articulated one of his passing thoughts as he read through her articles. “Which brings up the question, if you live so near campus, why do you live in your own condo?” The public transport here isn’t shit either. Levi noted to himself. She had little excuse to live alone and from the looks of her place, she seemed to come from a well off family who could at least afford a place like that.
“I wanted freedom.”
A Tale of Two Slaves
The gym was huge. It was also so complete, the coverage so comprehensive that Levi was almost inspired to take up all the sports offered. They had indoor basketball courts, tennis courts and a complete track and field set.
The important part Hange pointed out as they entered though were the devices that could measure things like speed, weight, pulse, all necessary for her study. One of the more boring parts of the tour but surprising none the least.
Levi found himself particularly fixated on the fact that Hange was greeting everyone in the job like a regular.
"Hey, you weren't at the gym this morning."
"Had to pick up my friend here. He'll be helping me with my thesis."
Levi felt a tap on his back, brief and light. Maybe hesitant? Levi could not help but entertain the passing thought that if he were Moblit or maybe anyone else, she probably would have had her arm around his shoulders. He had seen her make that gesture towards Moblit and Elijah after all.
As Hange walked towards the desk and made conversation with what looked to be the receptionist, Levi watched her from behind. At first she had seemed too nerdy and too geeky that he had expected her to be lanky under the sweaters and the white coats she wore.
That day, she was in shorts and a blouse and Levi could not help but notice how her body curved underneath her clothes, and as he focused on her legs, he could make out the subtle muscle cuts on her legs. Hange's physique was definitely more toned than average and Levi pondered Hange's own physical fitness.
Her vertical. Her endurance. Her strength. The same things she had mentioned wanting to study about him.
As Hange gave him a tour though, Levi decided that it could wait until later.
A Tale of Two Slaves
That morning, with only less than a minute to drop his bag and could only afford a glance of her room.
As he arrived back there late in the afternoon after a long tour of the gym, he had to stop himself from making a face. The fastidious side of him was silently judging Hange.
It was obvious in the way Hange had prepared the bed and the way that most tables and furniture had space for a visitor to sit or rest that Hange had at least cleaned in anticipation.
But she's a horrible cleaner.
The sofa bed was prepared but the sheets were wrinkled. The trashcan was overflowing, a disturbing sign that Hange did not segregate her trash. The dining table was empty but a display table at the corner of the room took the brunt of what Levi guessed the dining table used to carry.
There were jackets messily folded on the display table and Levi recognized her schoolbag particularly by the keychain he had returned only a few days ago.
“Make yourself at home.” Hange dropped a few towels on the sofa bed before making her way to her own bedroom. “You can use the shower in the powder room. Also, what do you want for dinner?”
“Anything.” Levi answered. He was still bothered by the state of the room to demand much of anything. The food was free, the accommodation was free, he felt guilty just complaining internally.
Hange seemed unbothered by the shitty state of her “cleaned up room.” In fact she had seemed proud as she toured him around her house. As Levi watched Hange with her goofy smile as she played with her phone in between bites of the pizza they had ordered, he could not help but feel guilty for having harbored such negative thoughts when Hange seemed more relaxed than he had seen her in a while.
“What are you watching?” Levi asked, an attempt at conversation more than anything. There were things he had wanted to ask her, yet at that moment, he felt would seem too intrusive.
Hange turned her phone to him. The video Hange had been looking at was that figure skater glided to the rink and jumped into the air, rotating quickly.
“I didn’t know you liked figure skating.” Levi said, his eyes focused on the heart on the side, to see it filled over. Hange liked the video.
“I like a lot of sports. I definitely would have wanted to try skating as a kid. Maybe gymnastics or even track."
Levi tried to imagine Hange in a tutu or a leotard, having to hold back a snort as he did. “You never looked like the type to wear a dress.”
“I wouldn’t. But I’m pretty sure you know how fun it would be to be able to launch yourself up in the air like that. You’ve done it multiple times.”
Levi thought back to the interviews he had read, the answers she had made even since grade school. I want to see how people can fly . “Why didn’t you take a sport as a kid?”
The smile she had given him after was wry, a little sullen and Levi knew he must have hit something sensitive inside her. “Because my parents didn’t allow me. If I take gymnastics, I’d break my neck. If I take skating, I’d break my spine. If I take track and field, I’d break my knees." She explained in an almost mocking town." They never ran out of excuses when it came to sports. But when it came to academics, they were always shipping me off to some new competition.”
I wanted freedom. That afternoon in the cafe, Hange had answered it so casually, he had brushed it off as they continued to fill out the data sheets. As he listened to Hange explain her situation right there, Levi could not help but recall a twinge of sadness in Hange’s voice as she had said the word “freedom.”
“Don’t get me wrong, academics can be fun.” Hange said. “But I don’t think it’s ever going to beat the adrenaline rush of jumping or sprinting.”
“And that’s why you’re going to the gym a lot now.”
“I’m in college. My parents can’t stop me now. But yeah, my childhood is done. I don’t think I’ll ever get to your level, even when I train everyday.”
Levi had heard people say that before. The body of a child is flexible, the bones and muscles can still be easily molded. By the time people grow to be adults, their body is set and sure, they could probably jump or run along a track casually, collegiate competition and professional competitions were out of the question for most if not all people who start a sport as an adult.
"Maybe I can teach you?"
A Tale of Two Slaves
The Hange in Levi’s dreams was able to fly. She was the one who would be screaming as they glided through the air in those contraptions. She had the ability to launch herself up in the air, to flip, to spin, just like the athletes in the videos she constantly followed.
Hange wasn't at all out of shape either. In fact as he saw her in gym clothes and as he watched her do a few rounds around the empty track, he had to note that her form was good. Her physique and the cuts in her muscles were also well defined. He wouldn’t have been surprised if the Hange who was watching him do rounds of jumps as she took notes was the same Hange in his dreams.
The bar Hange had set for him was clearable with little to no effort. After clearing a few rounds, enough for Hange to be satisfied with the preliminary data, he took the stopwatch from her hands and guided her to the place he had positioned himself a while ago. He opted to adjust it a few centimeters lower, at a height he had seen less skilled jumpers back in high school clear with no problems.
He spent a few minutes going through the basics with her, particularly the method of softening a landing, having seen teammates from long ago get injured from that in particular.
“You’ve seen me jump countless times. I’m sure you can do it.” Levi assured. He knew that that last part was for himself more than anything. It pained him to see her nervous. Her face was a far cry from the Hange he knew.
She should know how to do it right?
Keeping the bar at its minimum and going through that landing with Hange a few times had turned out to be a good decision. It was in the way Hange had run to the bar, through the way her eyes went wild as she ran and as she landed right next to the bar that had fallen did Levi realize though, that Hange was terrified.
Terrified yet determined. Hange went back to her starting point and prepared herself for it a few more times.
“You don’t have that bounce in your step when you take off.” Levi bounced on the balls of his feet a few times for emphasis.
Hange gave him a quick nod before readying herself to run again. Levi could see she was tired. As Hange went through the motions pre jump, Levi could feel his heart beat faster. It took him a split second longer to realize why. Hange’s motions were wild and unsynchronized.
Levi did not say anything for fear of distracting her and possibly causing injury. He found himself running towards her instead. He was too late though. By the time he had arrived by the bars, she had fallen on it. One side of the bar flailed up in the air as Hange landed and she let out a loud gasp of surprise.
“Hey, you okay?” Levi asked, as he crouched next to her. He had kept his voice soft for fear of her hearing the panic in it.
Hange was lying face up on the mat, her light brown eyes looking longingly above her.
They had started training in the stadium at four in the morning, hours before the sun was scheduled to rise. It was only when Levi saw how unnaturally light Hange’s eyes were did he realized the ceiling above them was glass, and the sun had risen enough for the light to reflect on it.
“Must be nice to fly huh?” Hange voiced out before sitting back up again. “I’m fine but I think I bruised my shoulder.” She reached out for her right shoulder with her left hand and winced.
Having been jumping almost his whole life, Levi had forgotten for a while, how difficult the mechanics would be to pick up for the average adult. While gazing at Hange who had bent her head back and continued to watch the sunrise from the glass ceiling, Levi continued to reflect on it. If it were any other person, he probably would have even removed the bar as he thought them the mechanics.
The game changer in those particular circumstances was that it was Hange he was teaching, the subject of his dreams, the one who was flying with him from tree to tree in the forest. The one who was smiling and doing backflips, provoking him to chase her. For the life of him, Levi could not believe that she was not able to clear that jump.
A Tale of Two Slaves
The sullen mood of a while ago quickly dissipated to something a little more bearable when Levi suggested they play on the trampolines adjacent to the track.
It had felt ridiculous at first. As Hange continued to gaze upward, mumbling about wanting to fly and as Levi himself dealt with the disappointment of what just happened, it had seemed like a logical suggestion.
It was the most mindless way he could come up with to get both of them flying and jumping and maybe, get them both cheered up in the process. They only had to bounce a few times for it to be exciting. After a few bounces, Hange started to laugh, she started to scream in excitement.
The same excited scream he had heard so many times before in his dreams. Levi found himself staring at Hange as she jumped. The spark in her eye was brighter than it had ever been. Her cheeks were starting to flush from what could have been excitement or exhaustion. After what could have been a few more minutes of jumping, Hange landed on her ass and let out a loud laugh in between gasps.
“Something tells me you haven’t done this before.” Levi said as he settled on the floor of the trampoline next to her.
“Parents didn’t allow me.They said I’d break my ankle.” Hange answered, after she had gotten control of her ragged breathing. She was sweaty and flushed but she looked carefree.
That was the Hange Levi was familiar with. Before Levi even noticed it, he had brought out his hand and lightly touched her on the side of her arm. Oddly enough, she did not resist the light and quick squeeze he had given her. As Levi looked closely at her, he guessed she probably didn’t notice or didn’t care. He quickly let go of her arm, a few seconds after he had noticed the odd action. Before that, he had allowed himself a few seconds to process the warmth of her skin and the up and down movement that came with her heavy breathing. It was oddly calming and assuring.
She's real. She's alive. She's warm and she's breathing.
Soon after that, they were kicked out of the gym. Actually, no one had kicked them out. The Sunday gym goers though had taken up their territory on the track as they started their warmups. Levi and Hange soon realized their time was up. The rude awakening to that reality had felt like they were being kicked out anyway.
It also turned out the giant trampoline Levi suggested they played on was only for the children's use. One reason, Hange had never bothered to touch it even when she did frequent the gym.
Hange had sleepily explained that part to him as she sprawled herself on the sofa of her condominium that afternoon. The early morning in the gym had left her exhausted. She fell asleep soon after and Levi could not help but notice the smile on her face as she slept. He wondered if she usually smiled in her sleep.
Levi settled himself on one of the chairs around the dining table in a good position to watch her, busying himself by going through all the Instagram profiles Hange had followed, following them using his own account. Some of the videos were in slow motion and Levi found himself in that same blackhole as Hange had been in many times before, begrudgingly agreeing that Hange was right.
The slow motion videos in particular showed the detail. The way the legs make a slight bounce before launching up, the slight movements the body made as it is suspended in the air. Levi knew there was a lot of body coordination involved in getting the highest vertical possible. Seeing the body work together, the miniscule movements all cooperating to get the jumper spinning, flipping or twisting was oddly satisfying. Levi was distracted, so distracted the only thing that could break it was the vibration of his phone accompanying the banner on top.
Coach Greg.
Levi was once again pulled out of his blackhole. Of course he’d have to train. He had missed multiple trainings the past week due to the wound in his knee. He had also missed yesterday morning’s training having to meet Hange. Their season was starting in a few weeks and he was their best chance at a championship that year. Levi wasn’t too surprised that their coach was more than ready to run through drills with him on a Sunday night.
After a few minutes of digging through Hange’s unit, Levi managed to unearth a pile of post-its and a pen. Thank you for letting me stay over. Gotta run. He wrote. He kept it short and simple, knowing he would probably end up chatting with her soon anyway. He stuck it on the dining table, slung his overnight bag over his shoulder and silently left the room.
As he took the train back to campus, Levi continued on his little blackhole. A video was just released, taken in a tournament in Russia just a few days back.
Quad Queen Alexandra Trusova.
Levi did not know his way around figure skating jumps but he found himself watching it in slow motion anyway. The sped up version was surprising but the slow motion version that followed was mesmerizing. Levi counted four spins in the air, noting both the slight bounce before the jump and the bounce that followed the landing.
As Levi refreshed the video on his phone, he could not help but notice that Hange’s name still wasn’t among those who had liked the photo. Was she still asleep?
He could only imagine the smile she makes as she watches videos. He clicked the paper airplane icon below the videos, scrolled through the users and clicked send on Wingsoffreedom132. He made sure to add a wings emoji and a heart emoji, the way Hange had done in a few of the videos.
Somehow, after doing that, it became easier to imagine that goofy smile a little more vividly.

‘Come on, come on, come on, Lucy please pick up!’
“Sorry I’m not available to take your call. Please leave a message at the beep.”
“Fuck!” Natsu clicks off before the beep and chucks his phone at his bed. He’d already left numerous voice mails and text messages over the last week, the desperation growing with each one, but they’d all gone unanswered or unread. If he left anymore Lucy just might block him and he didn’t want that to happen.
All he needed was a chance, one chance. Even though their interactions were few between meeting on the train, the phone, and the cafe, it still should have provided him with some credibility. So how after just one encounter could she believe Touka over him? He didn’t understand. Of course, Gray’s take on it all was well, women tend to be more emotional. Maybe Lucy’s decision to react wasn’t because she necessarily believed Touka’s story. Perhaps she’s been cheated on before or slighted by a guy. Natsu shouldn’t try to rationalize it based on only his own experiences. His friend might be right, but he still wanted to hear it from Lucy’s own mouth. Didn’t he deserve at least that much?
Why hasn’t she blocked him yet? Did it mean she was still thinking about everything, processing it, or simply hadn’t had a chance to? Okay, that last one doesn’t make any sense considering how easy it easy to block a number on a cellphone. It gave him hope things weren’t over yet, but that unknown made it worse, like being left standing in the cold waiting for the rain to stop falling. Ugh! When will this storm pass? He needed answers or this’ll slowly drive him insane!
So, two days later he makes a crazy decision. “Yes,” he tells Gray, “so don’t stay up waiting for me.”
“You’re an idiot, you know that, right?” Gray crosses his arms, “that’s basically stalking, as in you could go to jail if she complains.”
“I know the consequences, but I don’t see it like that. I just want to talk to her and if she tells me to fuck off, I’ll leave, but at least I got my answer.”
The man shakes his head and starts to walk away. “Never thought I’d see you go so nuts over a girl man. But good luck.”
Night after night, Natsu rides the train at the same time as their first meeting, hoping to run into Lucy. He knew it was a long shot, that their meeting may have been completely at random and she rarely caught the train so late at night. Which made sense considering the dangers of a single woman out alone. But it was his only lead to follow. Her campus was simply too large to wander aimlessly on and he had no idea where she lives. He was determined to see this through no matter how long it took.
Such resolution began to falter by the end of the second week when no sight or sound of the blonde crossed his path. He would sit there growing more and more despondent, getting onto the train and off to start the cycle again in the same route. Even other daily commuters started to notice this odd man sitting on a bench with his head kept low, only to look up at the sound of the doors opening. Natsu must have looked pathetic, and sad, a poor miserable creature lost in a sea of train riders with a story no one knew but could guess based on his appearance.
“Dude, it’s been a month! Just give up already!”
“No way! Tonight, could be the night!”
And it was.
It’d become such a routine, like one of Pavlov’s conditioning experiments. At the sound of the trains door, Natsu’s head pops up ready to scan all the incoming riders. It was nearing 10:30 pm with only one more route for the evening before he’d have to give up and try again tomorrow... but there she was.
Lucy walks into the door at the other end of the car and doesn’t see him immediately. By that hour there’s only a small number of riders so most of the seats were open and she quickly sits down on one. Natsu jumps up and rushes over in his excitement, like a puppy whose master had just come home.
He drops down in a crouch before Lucy and grabs her hand before she can resist or stop him. “Please, don’t scream or anything, I just wanna talk.”
“Oh my god Natsu, you scared the hell out of me!” She tries to pull her hand away, but he simply holds on tighter. “Natsu, there’s a reason I haven’t answered your calls, so take a hint.”
“Oh, come on Lucy, you never even gave me a chance to prove I’m innocent! How could you believe a woman who you just met over me, I thought we at least had a small connection between us.”
Lucy sees a few other riders staring in their direction. In embarrassment, she lowers her voice and grits out a response. “Let go of my hand, get off the floor and sit on the bench before I scream for help.”
“Y-Yes, ma’am,” he scrambles to his feet and takes a seat beside her.
The woman lets out an exasperated sigh. “I really don’t know how you can prove anything to me Natsu. I don’t know either of you, so to protect myself, it’s safer to just walk away.”
“Then get to know me, Luce. That’s all I’m asking for and you’ll see it was all a lie.”
“How would I know you’re not still seeing Touka? It’s not like we’d be together 24/7, so there’s plenty of opportunities for you to juggle the both of us.”
Ugh! He runs his hand down his face in frustration. “Touka is not my girlfriend, has never been my girlfriend, and will never be my girlfriend. She’s been stalking me for a couple years now and you’re not the first girl she’s chased away because she thought they were a rival.”
“Pfft.” Lucy takes out her phone, pulling up Instagram, and tapping away furiously. “Then explain this,” she shows him Touka’s profile. “Pictures of you two that looks like you’re a couple,” she scrolls a few posts down, “and again here, a comment by a N_dragneel with heart shapes. And then!” She changes to that persons profile, shoving her phone in his face, “are you telling me this isn’t you?”
Natsu stares at the profile which appeared to be filled with pictures of him and his life, along with the description stating Natsu loves Touka. “It’s not me,” he states calmly and takes out his own phone, pulling up his Instagram account. “This is me,” he shows her.
“How do I know this isn’t a side account?”
Again, he sighs and clicks on the account information. “See, I have one side blog to post dragon art, and that’s it. She created that fake blog with my name.”
“And the photo’s?!”
“Photoshop or some other free app anyone can download. Lucy I’m telling you the truth, and this isn’t the first time I’m hearing this.” He groans, “this’ll be the third blog I’ll have to report for stealing my identify.”
The tell-tale ding of the trains information board signals they’d arrived at Lucy’s stop. “Look Natsu, I-I just don’t know what to make of all this.” She stands to leave, but he corners her.
“Just one shot, Lucy please! I’ll introduce you my friends, hell I can introduce you to another woman Touka’s harassed and you’ll have to see I’m telling you the truth!”
“Natsu, move.” She clenches her fists in frustration and her adrenaline is making her body shake. “I-I have to go!”
“But Lucy...”
“Please,” moisture builds in her eyes. “Natsu get out of the way.”
Heartbroken and dejected, his shoulders slump and arms drop to his sides as he steps away to let her pass. Lucy adjusts her backpack and starts to walks away but pauses just outside of the door. Without turning around, “Even if you’re telling me the truth Natsu, I have to think long and hard if I’d want to deal with all this drama. I’m sorry.”
The doors close and with it the last pieces still hanging on in Natsu’s heart shatter. She was right. How fair is it to Lucy to be caught in the middle of this stalking war with Touka? He shambles back to his seat and drops as the train moves on to his stop. All he could do was wait and see what she decided. Is he worth the investment?

Wherever you may go, wherever you may be, I will never be far away
Beca has been exhausted with work and overtime in order to provide nice things for Chloe, and pay the bills, etc. When Beca comes home at around 11pm, she finds Chloe curled up on the couch after attempting to wait for Beca. Beca becomes very very soft. :)
Title from Billy Joel's Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel).

Beca is exhausted. Shes been working her ass off at Capital records, trying to make a name for herself, and to provide for her small family of three.
Her girlfriend Chloe, herself, and their newest addition, their rescue puppy they had named Chase, because of how he had chased Beca around the first time she saw him. He was a mix of a Collie and something else they couldn’t figure out, but he was the cutest dog ever. At least that was what Chloe had said, and Beca had come to understand it.
But she would never admit that to Chloe. But that dog was damn adorable.
They live in a nice 2 bedroom apartment in Pomona, CA where Chloe can go to Vet school, at Western University of Health Sciences, and Beca can commute to her office. Chloe has two more years of school, and she’s going to become a Vet after that, but while she goes to school, Beca is the main source of income. They weren’t broke, but they weren’t rich either, and they tried their best to keep it that way. Chloe worked at a Veterinary Clinic near the school, and helped pay the apartment rent. Although Beca had insisted that she didn’t have to, Chloe had somehow convinced her. And Beca couldn't say no to Chloe Beale.
They had started dating after the USO tour, after Beca had gotten signed to Capitol, and Chloe had been accepted into WesternU, when Beca finally decided to sack up and tell the ginger her feelings.
Their move to California was scheduled around the same time, and having lived in Brooklyn together before, and having started dating, they had mutually decided that moving-in together was a good idea. Her workplace was not too far from where Chloe was going to go to school, and it being cheaper to live in a bigger apartment in Pomona than being crammed in a small apartment in Hollywood, they had chose to live near WesternU. They had started out living in different rooms at first, but found themselves sleeping better, and much more comfortable together in Beca’s room, and they had transferred Chloes old room into a guest room/Beca’s studio when she needed to work from home, or she wanted to work from home.
Beca usually has work with her clients until 7pm, then edit and work on other things until around 10 and then finally, head home. The drive was about 30 minutes, 45 minutes tops, and she would get home at around 11. She had her days off on Wednesdays, and Saturdays and Sundays were half days, or she would sometimes have the weekends off. She always tried to spend more time with Chloe, and she tried to keep a no-work-at-home policy although there were exceptions. That was easy since she had a girlfriend who she could barely say no to.
Tonight was one of those late nights.
The wifi stopped working, and then there was the printer jamming incident, and then had to make sure her emails were sent to her boss about the new client. She finishes up around a quarter to 11, and she gets in her car, sending a quick text to Chloe, telling her that she’d be heading home now. She doubted that she was still awake though since when she gets home at 10:30, she’s usually getting ready for bed, and on days like this, she’s usually fast asleep on Beca’s side of the bed. She drives home, and gets home at about a quarter past 11.
She unlocks the door quietly, and then opens the door slowly, making sure she doesn’t wake up Chloe, who is probably in another room. She just wanted to be safe, just in case. And then Chase comes trotting over to the door, welcoming her home.
“Shhhh… don’t wake mommy up okay?” She says as she crouches down to pet the puppy.
She sees that the light is still on in the room and looks up, seeing her girlfriend curled up on the couch, asleep.
She’s wearing Beca’s gray Bellas sweater, the one that was originally Chloe’s, she stole it somewhere around her sophomore year when she started living in the Bellas house. She had declared that it was hers now, and Chloe had allowed her to keep it all through the years, and now, Chloe’s back to wearing it again. She smiles, walks to the couch, and sits on the floor to kiss the ginger’s cheek.
“I’m home baby.” She says cupping her cheek and kissing her on the lips.
Chloe flutters open her eyes, and wakes up, looking sleepy as heck as she looks at Beca. “I was waiting for you to come home. “She yawns and stretches, rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“Sorry I’m late. I was supposed to leave earlier, but a lot of things happened, I can explain tomorrow. “ She smiles and pecks Chloe’s forehead.
“It’s okay. Did you have dinner?” The ginger asks her as she sits up and stretches her arms.
“No. But I’m not that hungry though.”
“Becaaaaa…. you have to eattttt…”Chloe says to her as she gets up. “I have some leftovers I can heat up.”
“No it’s fine. I’m fine. I’m gonna take Chase out before I get ready for bed. Wait for me in bed?” She asks the ginger, getting up and leaving her bag and taking her jacket off, leaving it on the couch. “Chase. Let’s go out. Bathroom time. “ She says to the dog and he runs to the door excitedly.
“Okay fineee, but I’m coming with you two. I don’t wanna be left behind.” She says with a pouty face as she grabs the leash off the hook.
“Okay then, let’s go.” She takes the leash from the ginger, and connects it to Chase’s collar. “Mommy’s coming with us too.”She smiles, holding onto the leash. Chase jumps up and down excitedly, “I know bud, I’m happy that she’s coming with us too.”She says to the pup and pats him on the head.
“Let’s go!” The redhead returns to the living room, and they both walk out the door, letting Chase mark his territory around the complex, while Chloe and Beca talk about their day, holding hands and walking together.
“Jill keeps texting her boyfriend at work, and she’s always on her phone. I don’t understand how she still has a job.”Beca giggles as she talks about her day.
“I’m sure you’re like that sometimes, I swear, sometimes my phone doesn’t stop vibrating with texts from you.”The redhead jokes, holding Beca’s spare hand which isn’t holding Chase’s leash. The summer breeze makes it a bit chilly, and Chloes glad that she wore her hoodie.
“Oh, I’m not that bad!” Beca exclaims in her quiet nighttime voice, “But I also can’t resist my girlfriend sending me sexy snaps in the middle of the day.”She smirks, squeezing the gingers hand for a moment. Beca had to make sure she had set her notifications to be private, she had that one incident when she almost showed her girlfriend on Airplay at a work meeting. From then on, she knew to keep her notifications discreet. She didn’t need anyone seeing her messages. “I swear to god I almost died when I accidentally opened my Snapchat from you during a meeting. I made it just in time but that was so dangerous.”
“That was because you sent me a raunchy text baby. It’s all your fault. “Chloe scoffs.
“I could’ve been fired!” She whisper yells, raising both her occupied arms up.
“Oh stop exaggerating!”The ginger laughs.
"Oh I'm totally getting back at you for that time!"She jokingly says, pointing at Chloe. "I'm gonna do something to make you so horny that you'll have to take a break, no take the day off!"
"Oh, try. You'll never be able to do that. Remember who always loses the no touching challenge?"
"..um... you?..."
"Oh you wish."Chloe giggles, kissing her nose and running ahead of them. "You can't catch me!!"
"H-Hey!! Chloooooo!"Beca follows along with Chase, but it looks like Chase is taking poor Beca on a run.
“Hey Bec?” Chloe says as they make their way back into the house, unhooking Chase’s leash off of him and letting him run inside.
“Huh?”Beca looks at the ginger, closing the door behind and then making sure it’s locked.
“I love you.”She says, her smile soft and genuine.
These are the moments that make Beca’s heart pound like crazy. Like how did she deserve this angel? How? “I love you too.” She repeats back, kissing the ginger and wrapping her arms around her. “What did I ever do to deserve you?”she mumbles into Chloes shoulder as they awkwardly toddle over to the couch and fall onto it.
“Everything Bec. You’re amazing. I wonder if I ever deserve you. You spoil me too much baby. “She chuckles as she kisses her forehead.
“And you tease me too much.”Beca jokes, and she earns a light slap from the ginger. “Heyyy! Thats not fair!”
“Its fair alright, I tease you because you’re just too damn adorable.”
“Am not! I’m not adorable! I’m badass!” She says as she tries to pry herself away from Chloe, but her girl is too strong, making her stuck in Chloe’s embrace.
“Okay, okay, whatever you say cutiehead.”She giggles, kissing her right on the cheek.
“Ugh, I hate you.”Beca pouts jokingly.
“You do not hate me. Exaggerator!”She kisses her cheek again, this time much more like a wet-grandma-like kiss.
“Ewwwwww… you kiss like a grandma! My cheek is wet!”Beca complains, wiping it off with her arm.
“Want me to do it again?”Chloe asks, going in for the kiss again, but Beca’s hand stops it from reaching her cheek. “Noooooooooh!” Her lips get closer again.
“I don’t hear a please Beca.”Chloe teases, getting even closer.
“NOooooooh!”
“C’mon Beca. Just one word baby.”
“Okay fine! Please stop!” Beca gives up and Chloe’s lips retrieves.
“See? That wasn’t so hard? Was it Beca? When you’re a good girl, you get your way, or can get things faster.”She winks. “But when you’re a bad girl, you don’t get your way, and sometimes you can get more pain or teasing from it. “She lowers her hand down to Beca’s ass and squeezes it, making Beca wince. She had been a bad girl in bed last Saturday, and the pain was much better but its still hurt a bit. But that story’s for another day.
“Can we go to bed? I’m really tired. Like exhausted.”Beca asks her girlfriend, looking up at her with pouty eyes.
“Okay. Let’s get to bed, really tired. I don’t know where my Beca went though.”She jokes and giggles, taking her hand and leading her to the bedroom.
“Its almost 12. Which means it’s already tomorrow, and now we don’t have anymore time to sleep…”Beca mumbles as she walks into the closet and gets changed into her pajamas, an oversized teeshirt, which is of corse Chloe’s, and plops down on the bed.
“You’re okay. C’mere baby.”Chloe says as she lifts the comforter up and slides in, waiting for Beca to do the same.
Beca yawns as she gets in and curls up close to Chloe, her bing the little spoon and Chloe being the big spoon. “I love you.” She closes her eyes, and lets Chloe wrap her body around hers, feeling safe and comfortable.
“You’re quite the over thinker, aren’t you baby.”Chloe chuckles as she peppers kisses all over Beca’s head, and then starts running her fingers through Beca’s hair, allowing her to relax.
“But it’s true though, i.....”
“Shh… baby. Stop talking and calm down.” The ginger says gently and kisses her head once again.
Beca’s train of thoughts don’t stop though,she stops talking but the thoughts in her mind keep running, and she can't seem to stop them. She thinks about how perfect her life is, with Chloe and Chase, and how she want to pop the question soon. How she's gonna do that, what say to ask Stacie to help her pick the engagement ring, and then how the wedding is gonna be, how she's gonna tell the Bellas, and on and on and on and....
“Beca. Turn off your thoughts. I can still hear the gears turning.”Chloe says.
"I'm no...."
"Save the questions and the thoughts for another day Becs. " She rubs her arm.
“Mkay….night...”Beca mumbles, turning and facing Chloe’s body, curling up once again as she rubs her back.
It can wait another day.
She soon relaxes and lets sleep take over, feeling safe and sound in Chloe’s arms.
Chloe kisses the sleeping brunette's head for the last time before she falls asleep.
“Good night, my angel.”

Yo did u make that post about your 9th grade science class
oh my God I was talking about it with my friend last night and now I’m losing my mind about it all over again sdkjhdfskh
so the school I went to for 9th grade was a Catholic high school, and it was one with like a GREAT reputation. Like, all the Catholic high schools in my area were ‘good schools’ but this was the like the Big One. Always had the best grades, happiest students, best sports teams, best plays, always did the most outreach with the elementary schools, like it was a very popular school.
But then,
The summer before I started, the city shut down like...a fucking hundred Catholic schools, because no one wants to fund education I guess? And if your parents send you to Catholic school, they usually want you to stay there no matter what. So instead of all these students going to public school...a ton of them were forcibly transferred to this school (in the suburbs). Everyone was pissed- the city kids were mad because they had no attachment to this place and the commute was annoying. The teachers that transferred with them were pissed off about the whole affair. The teachers that previously worked in this school and didn’t lose their jobs to new teachers were stressed and had no way of controlling the overcrowded classrooms. Tuition went THROUGH THE ROOF. And their was a lot of tension between the city kids and the suburb kids for...literally no reason at all tbh, it was just There so all the classes were insane.
But my science class. Took insane to new levels.
So, I need to preface this with the type of student I was: I liked science, I thought it was interesting, but science did not like me, and thought I was a bitch. No matter what I tried I was always just scrapping by in the class- but. I always dedicated myself to being the nice, quiet girl who sits in the front, because then the teachers like you, and whether you’re actually a good student or not they’ll give you allowances. 12th Grade gov class, I literally handed in my requirement-for-graduation research paper in a week and a half late and still got a hundred on it, because when the teacher asked me where it was I told her ‘I handed it in on the due date?’ and she immediately was like ‘Oh my God, you did? I’m so sorry!’, then gave me a day to get a ‘’‘new’’’ copy to her, and she felt so bad she gave me extra credit. Like, genuinely, I was determined to play this part and it paid off lmao.
So for 9th grade I was obviously doing that, but compared to everyone else going crazy, I looked like a literal saint. The teachers in this school weren’t authorized to give detention- we had a school ‘Disciplinarian’, and basically you had to go to his office for him to tell you you have detention, it was weird, but if an entire class was acting up, each room had a call button so he could be summoned to the room to give the full class detention. But all 3 of my science teachers that year, instead of pressing the button, would send me down to his office to bring him back up to the classroom personally, so he would know that everyone EXCEPT me was getting detention. Like, every time one left they literally left in their notes for the new teacher ‘send Molly to get Mr. Chia if the class gets too bad’ it was so fucking funny.
We went through 3 teachers that year.
The first one was this old man with an impossible to pronounce last name, who walked with a cane and was considered one of the toughest teachers in the school. Before the end of October, he had mysteriously vanished. Like- they literally wouldn’t tell us where this man went. I feel like if he died or had a stroke, they would’ve had us pray for him during homeroom or something??? He left us no clues, he literally said to me ‘you did great on the worksheet today! Skip the homework, I’ll see you tomorrow’ and then for the next few weeks we had rotating substitutes until they found a new teacher kjshdgjkhd where did he GO
But anyway- he hated our class. He had the toughest teacher rep to live up to and he literally could not control a single student. Screamed his throat raw. Was constantly changing seating arraignments to try and keep certain kids apart. Was constantly getting bombarded with paper wasps and rubber bands and annoying kids asking invasive questions about his stroke. Kids were threating to fight him if he sent them to get detention. No one ever did the homework, everyone always yelling over him when he was trying to teach- in the later weeks before he disappeared, he literally just taught to me and like 3 other students in the front and tried to tune out the other kids. This poor dude omg.
So, we had various substitutes that just put on movies for a few weeks, and then they found our second teacher. He was a cute, young guy, eager to mold young minds, was active in the church and his sister actually went to the school, so they though they could count on him to get our class together and stick it out for the full school year.
This man was mistreated so badly by these 15 year olds that he RAN AWAY TO ITALY.
I’M NOT EVEN BEING DRAMATIC HE LEGITMATELY MOVED TO ROME TO GET AWAY FROM US.
He stood no chance. The SECOND he walked in all the kids could smell he was weak blood. The chaos went to new levels- people released real wasps into the room so everyone would run around in panic. Physical fights broke out *just* for the sake of disrupting class. No one would ever stop talking over him. A used tampon was once thrown at the chalkboard. I was shot in the arm with a homemade blow dart that a kid made during a test. People were always trying to hack into his laptop to get answers. A fire was started in the trashcan. Someone tried to climb out the window when he snapped and started screaming at everyone. He screamed so much his voice was almost perpetually hoarse in the days before he left. People would make inappropriate jokes about his fiancée and little sister. Someone tried to steal his camera a few times. The all had terrible nicknames for him.
I literally saw this man transform, before my very eyes, from someone happy and excited to live his passion, into a depressed and stressed out man who just wanted an out. I felt SO bad for him. I genuinely cannot imagine being pushed to my breaking point so hard that I decide my only option is to FLEE THE COUNTRY. But he literally came in one day like ‘guess what fuckers! I’ll be in Rome by the end of the week! Have fun in hell!’ ksdjfdskjfd
The third teacher- they had a hard time finding. Even people who were actively looking for teaching positions didn’t wanna take the job because word got around about us literally driving a man out of America. They ended up finding a teacher at another school who was good with ‘’’’’difficult students’’’’’ and offering him an obscene amount of money to switch. He...listen. He was nice.
He comes in the first day, says ‘So I don’t actually know what physical science is- I’m just gonna teach you guys chemistry’ and then proceeded to not actually teach chemistry.
He got mad at the kids every now and then, but he was a lot calmer than the other teachers. He let A LOT slide and put on a lot of science videos to get out of trying to get through to the class.
He was...not the most attentive. I distinctly remember being in the lab, and we were doing that thing where you make flames change colors, and while he had his back turned a guy at my table lit his worksheet on fire, laughed, wasn’t paying attention and let the flame get to his sleeve, had his sleeve catch fire, panicked and beat it out, all in a few moments, all before Mr. Sliffy managed to turn around to catch him. It was an almost completely silent affair, but I feel like the teacher should’ve noticed the residual smoke coming off a kids arm??? He didn’t say anything though khdfsfhkds
So we really skated through for the last trimester that year- apart from a few labs he’d just put on like, ocean life documentaries and if he saw you paying attention he’d give you full class credit. He gave out candy to ‘anyone who’s not being an asshole’, so while some kids were still wild and unruly, everyone calmed down enough so the constant screaming turned into more. Bearable chatter. Tests were few and far between and not that difficult.
But I still cannot believe I had to live through this class like....I think I developed tinnitus just from sitting in it everyday. I was like constantly on guard for a fist or a dart to hit me for months afterward. It was too much like...can we please do something about schools oh my God. I don’t even know how to officially end this post. Please be nice to teachers oh my God.

Steve awoke early that morning from restless dreams, visions that haunted him inside and outside of sleep. His mother. Peggy. Bucky. His girl.
Their girl.
He hadn’t seen her in days—not since the funeral.
Part of him seethed when he thought about it, muscles tense, fists clenched. Another part of him, however—another part of him felt broken, chest and throat tightening, skin buzzing with pain.
It was a visceral response, either way, but he was more inclined to block out the sadness in favor of rage. He had broken knuckles and a bloody lip to attest to that.
“Time to wake up, sunshine!” Sam’s voice rang through the small Brooklyn apartment.
Steve sat up and looked around. He realized quickly that he wasn’t in his own bed—he wasn’t in a bed at all, actually, but instead on Sam’s sofa. Sam was in the kitchen, a metallic clang against plastic echoing in the living room as he shook a protein bottle around.
“What time is it?” Steve asked. He went to rub his eyes and flinched when a sharp sting spread through his skin, mixing with the dull ache of a bruise.
“Almost ten,” Sam answered. “Want a protein shake?”
“Sure,” Steve grunted and stood up, stretching out his aching limbs. He was shirtless and he could see more purple mottling on his stomach, around his ribs.
Sam handed him the protein shake and nodded to his injuries. “How ya feeling?”
“Like a truck ran me over,” Steve mumbled. He popped open the protein bottle and took a sip, cringing at the taste of watery vanilla—made with rice milk, no doubt, part of Sam’s new health kick.
Sam chuckled and went back into the kitchen. “Not a truck, no. But Rumlow wasn’t going easy on you last night.”
Steve groaned at the memory. He didn’t know if the throbbing in his head was from his hangover or his concussion.
Sam continued, “Still, man, congrats. Rumlow didn’t make it an easy win, but you managed it!”
The memories from last night flooded his mind. It wasn’t too different a night from the entire past week. There was an underground fight club they frequented in Brownsville, one that Steve participated in every so often. He hadn’t fought much for the past year—not since meeting Peggy—but now with so much built up anger and frustration over everything that had happened in the days leading up to the funeral, he needed to release his emotions somehow.
Fighting worked wonders for his excess energy.
He had fought every night that last week, and he had won every single match. Last night, he fought Brock Rumlow—one of the mobsters from Hydra, whose territory mostly spanned the other side of the Hudson despite their slow encroachment on New York City. Beating Rumlow to a pulp the previous night had not only won Steve ten grand, but it also established the dominance of the Brooklyn Mob over Hydra—informally, at least.
Steve finished off the protein shake and set the bottle on the kitchen counter.
“Feel free to take a shower, man,” Sam said, “You stink like shit and you got blood on my throw pillow.”
He glanced to the couch where his head had been resting, indeed finding dark brown stains of dried blood on the square pillow there. “Right. Sorry ‘bout that. I’ll just—” Steve motioned to the bathroom and got on his way.
“And Buck’s gonna be here in a few. We’re going out to breakfast—wanna come?”
“Yeah, sure,” Steve mumbled, then shut himself behind the bathroom door. As he showered, wincing from the hot water running through the cuts on his face, he readied himself for Bucky’s arrival.
Things were tense between the two men since Y/N had decided to leave. Bucky wasn’t doing well with it—eating his feelings and drinking away the pain at night. He knew Bucky blamed him, and he knew he was falling back into old habits like drinking and partying. Not that Steve was doing much better. He drank just as much, his smoking had doubled, and of course the bruising on his face spoke for itself.
But he didn’t know what to do, or why he felt this way. The past year when he had been staying away from Y/N, focusing instead on the mob and Peggy—that had been fine. He had been fine.
But now…
He ran his hands down his face, rubbing soap into the lacerations until it burned so bad, the pain was all he could think of.
When he got out, he dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt that Sam had left out for him before slicking his hair back to the best of his ability and running his knuckles against his jaw. He was getting a little scruffy, not having shaved for a few days, but the hair did a little bit to hide the bruising on his jaw and the cut on his chin from his fight two nights ago with one tough bastard named Wade Wilson.
As he entered the living room, he saw Bucky and Natasha sitting on the couch with Sam.
“Hey, Buck,” Steve greeted his friend with a clap on the shoulder, pretending not to notice when he shied away. “Nat. Didn’t know you were coming.”
“Buck stayed at my place last night so he invited me.”
“Oh.” Steve didn’t know what Bucky was up to lately, but now he wondered if he was back with Natasha… But Natasha was with the Maximoff girl… Right?
“You look like shit,” Bucky commented dryly.
“Yeah, Rogers, what happened?” Natasha asked, a smirk playing on her red lips.
When Steve ignored her, Sam answered, “He dragged Brock Rumlow across the ring last night.”
“Brownsville?” Bucky asked, turning in his seat to look at Steve, brows furrowing as he took in Steve’s full appearance, bruises, cuts, and all.
“Yeah,” Steve grunted, putting on his sneakers. He wasn’t in the mood to talk about it—not before a cup of coffee, at least. “Can we go now? I’m starving.”
It didn’t take long to walk to Coulson’s, only a few blocks down. The diner was a staple for them—they had been going there since high school for late night burgers and milkshakes, and Bucky realized that despite all of the stress from the last few weeks, his and Steve’s tumultuous relations with Y/N, some things never change.
He had to admit his annoyance and anger with Steve and how they had handled everything. Bucky didn’t think he himself was blameless—he acknowledged his own part, not supporting their girl enough, not being perceptive enough to realize how she was suffering. He wouldn’t apologize for punishing her when she deserved it, but he was sorry for everything else.
It was driving him crazy. He wished he could tell her this—beg for forgiveness—but he didn’t know how.
“I’ll have a cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake,” Bucky said, looking over the menu. “And a BLT. And fries.”
Sam raised his eyebrows from across the table. “That all?”
“I’ll have a side salad, too. Dressing on the side.”
“You’re a beast, Barnes.”
Steve stayed silent through the exchange, only speaking to order a breakfast spread and a coffee. He remained as such throughout most of breakfast, even as the others made conversation; how Sam’s latest fling with a girl from the Bronx was going, the latest Giants game, and construction for the Manhattan location of the Widow’s Web. Only once Steve had finished his first cup of coffee did he speak at all.
After Natasha mentioned her relationship with Wanda, Steve asked, “She’s still working at the Web?”
Natasha nodded, eyes lighting up with amusement as if she could see where Steve’s train of thought was going. She was always able to see through him like he was made of plastic wrap. “Yeah, but it’s a pain for her to commute now that she moved into their new apartment.”
“Where is their apartment?” he asked, trying to seem nonchalant.
She scoffed, but the smirk on her lips told him she wasn’t annoyed with his query. “I don’t know if I should tell you, Rogers. I’m perfectly aware of how Y/N broke up with you—”
“She didn’t break up with me—”
One of her perfectly groomed eyebrows arched so high Steve thought it might detach from her forehead. “Oh? Well it sure seems like it.”
His voice strained with effort as he resisted the urge to yell at her, or punch something, or flip the table. He was working hard on not making scenes in public. “I’m not asking for the address. Just making conversation.”
Natasha rolled her eyes. “Right. Well it’s not too far from the university. Wanda said they can walk to class.”
“Classes have started already?” Bucky asked, eager to smooth over the tension still radiating from Steve.
“Yep,” Natasha popped her lips, that sly grin coming back. “And don’t ask me what classes your girl is taking—I have no idea about her.”
Steve rolled his eyes and mumbled into his coffee mug, “She’s not our girl…”
“Not anymore she’s not.”
“Nat.” Bucky sent her a look, not mean, but stern and exasperated as she tried to rile Steve up further. “Knock it off.”
Steve looked at Bucky then, really looked at him—for probably the first time that entire morning. He took in the tight t-shirt Bucky wore, straining against his chest, the sleeves rolled up on his thick biceps. The man in front of him—the man he had known his entire life, who he had grown up with, who he had seen blossom from an awkward teenager into this beautiful man.
It wasn’t hard for Steve to admit that he missed him.
So things had been tense between them—Steve knew Bucky was mad at him, and Steve’s mood was rarely much better—but Steve missed Bucky. He knew Bucky would come around eventually. Not many things could get between their years of friendship.
Bucky held his gaze, wondering what Steve was thinking—and then Steve’s lips quirked up in a smirk behind his mug, his eyes sparkling with something suddenly.
Oh.
Well, Bucky was still a little pissed off, but he could work with that.
He was never good at holding a grudge, anyways.
Maintaining eye contact still, Bucky picked up his milkshake and wrapped his lips around the straw, taking a long sip and letting Steve observe the pucker of his red lips, the hollow of his cheeks as he sucked.
Steve licked his lips, mouth parted for a moment, entranced at the display, but their attention was diverted as the food arrived.
As Bucky started on his BLT, Natasha asked, “Buck, you coming to the party tonight?”
Bucky nodded, mouth full, and Steve asked, “What party?”
“A rave in East Village. Wanna come?”
Bucky swallowed and looked at Steve again—Steve, who was looking back at Bucky in an almost challenging way.
“Sure,” Steve said, surprising Bucky. “I’ll come.”
“Don’t need to go defend your title in Brownsville?” Bucky asked. Part of him still wanted to be angry at Steve. However, another part was excited for Steve to go tonight. He couldn’t remember the last time they had gone out together—it was before Y/N, maybe even before Peggy. Not that Bucky had been partying much the last few years after he got clean, but he was excited still. They could fool around like they used to, and it would be like old times.
Steve shrugged. “I think I’m done fighting. For now.”
Bucky snorted, but grinned at his friend. “You’re never done fighting, Stevie.”
It was later that night, almost midnight, when Steve saw Bucky outside of the nightclub in Manhattan, and he almost had an aneurysm at what he was wearing. A skintight silk button down shirt, unbuttoned halfway down his chest, matched with the tightest jeans he owned. His hair was down, long at his shoulders, a piece braided in the front. Red lips slick with spit, skin a little shiny, it was clear that Bucky had already pre-gamed earlier with Natasha.
As they stood behind Natasha, who was whispering to the bouncer, saying some sort of magic words to gain them entry, Bucky slung his arm low around Steve’s waist, swaying on his feet a little.
Steve slid his arm around Bucky to steady him, and his body tingled at the feeling of Bucky’s slimmer frame against him. He had always loved being able to support Bucky like this, hold him up when he was drunk. Steve was always the skinnier one growing up until they finished high school and then somehow he grew taller and filled out.
Bucky always said he loved Steve either way, and he was the only one to love him when he was tiny.
“How much have you had to drink?” Steve murmured to him, voice a soft growl close to Bucky’s ear.
Bucky shuddered, his shoulders vibrating under Steve’s arm. “Maybe one or two martinis at the Widow’s Web.”
“One or two?”
“Or five.” Bucky shrugged. “You know me.”
“Yeah I do. All too well…” Steve trailed off as the bouncer ushered them inside.
It was packed, lights flashing green and blue. Streamers, bubbles, and glitter floated around in the air, giving the sense of being underwater. Go-go dancers stood around the crowd on pedestals, dressed in clamshell bras and tight scaly skirts. Heavy electronic music played, and Natasha led the boys through the throng of dancers up to the bar. She managed to get them drinks relatively quickly—even though the bar was crowded with people, the bartender seemed to recognize her and got her order together pretty quickly.
She got them all shots of tequila. Steve cringed at the taste; it reminded him of the last time he had drank tequila and the bad decisions that had come with it.
After two more tequila shots, Natasha was pulled away by somebody she knew, and then Steve felt Bucky tugging at his waist.
“Come dance, Stevie!”
Steve had no chance to respond before Bucky was pulling him onto the dancefloor, expertly weaving through the crowd and then grinding his ass against Steve.
Well, Steve wasn’t going to protest.
He hadn’t gotten off since before the funeral, and he hadn’t fucked Bucky in much longer, and he was getting that craving again. Bucky was always the perfect sub for him. Something Steve admired about Bucky was his ability to switch between roles so well.
Another thing Steve admired about Bucky was his tight little ass, which Bucky was grinding against Steve’s half-hard cock like he was being paid for it.
Steve’s hands settled on Bucky’s hips, gripping tightly and moving them as he pleased. Bucky’s back was pressed tight to Steve’s chest, and Steve’s lips skimmed his ear, his neck, his jaw, where he nipped harshly at the bone, eliciting a deep groan from Bucky that rumbled through Steve’s chest.
After a few songs, the tequila started to kick in, and Steve felt bolder. His hands wandered up and down Bucky’s sides, his chest, skimming across soft bare skin juxtaposed by coarse black chest hair. He took a handful of Bucky’s pec, squeezing, slipping underneath his soft shirt and pinching at his nipple.
“Missed you, Buck,” Steve groaned in response to Bucky’s breathy whimper.
“Steve,” Bucky gasped as the man behind him brought his other hand to cup Bucky’s growing erection through painfully tight denim. His hands worked Bucky’s chest and cock in tandem until Bucky was shuddering and shaking, turning around to face Steve. “C’mere—” Bucky muttered before crushing his lips to Steve’s.
The kiss was deep and filthy, tongues dragging against tongue and teeth, lips sucking apart with lewd sounds drowned out by the music. Their bodies gyrated against each other to the beat, Steve’s hands gripping Bucky’s ass in a bruising hold, keeping their cocks pressed against each other through two layers of denim. Bucky fisted Steve’s hair, ran his hands down Steve’s neck and back and then tucked up underneath his shirt, lying flat against heated skin, damp with sweat.
Steve sucked a bruise into Bucky’s neck, all teeth and harsh sucks, while Bucky ran his nails down Steve’s shoulders.
“Want you,” Steve breathed into Bucky’s ear.
“Then take me.”
Without any warning, Steve led them to the men’s room, shoving Bucky into a stall and dropping to his knees. His hands worked Bucky’s jeans off quickly, pulling them down his thick thighs.
“No underwear, Buck?” Steve smirked up at him. “Feeling hopeful tonight?”
Bucky snorted. “The way you were eyeing me at the diner earlier told me all I needed to know about how things would go tonight, Rogers. You’re not as slick as you—oh, God—” His insults were cut off as Steve suddenly took Bucky’s entire cock into his mouth, down to the root, nose buried in Bucky’s shaved pubic hair.
Another thing Steve admired about Bucky was that Bucky kept everything so soft and smooth down here. It made giving head a downright joy.
“Oh, Stevie, please, yes—” Bucky gargled, slanting his fingers through Steve’s hair and holding him there.
Steve pulled back and dipped his head down, licking down his long shaft, tonguing the join between his cock and balls, and then running his tongue all over his balls until they were dripping spit. Steve sucked one into his mouth, playing with it with his tongue as Bucky chanted pleas and praise, mind lost at the feeling of Steve’s mouth on his most sensitive area.
Maneuvering their bodies so Bucky was leaning against the stall wall, Steve encouraged Bucky to spread his legs as much as possible with the restraint of his jeans around his thighs, even yanking his pants further down to get Bucky’s legs as wide as they could go in this dirty club bathroom. Then, Steve dove in, starting again at Bucky’s balls, sucking and tonguing them, and then licking back around to Bucky’s taint and burying his face as far as he could between Bucky’s legs to lick at the rosebud between his cheeks.
“Oh, fuck!” Bucky gasped raggedly, holding Steve’s hair with both hands and shoving.
It was an incredibly awkward position for Steve, face shoved into Bucky’s balls, mouth desperately trying to reach his asshole, chin absolutely soaked in saliva. One hand pumped Bucky’s cock and the other gripped his ass cheek, kneading and spreading them.
“Fuckfuckfuck—” Bucky canted his hips forward, trying to get more of Steve’s mouth on him. “More, Stevie, please—more—”
Steve pulled away, grinning at Bucky’s disgruntled whine. After a sharp smack to Bucky’s ass, he shoved at his hips. “Turn around and bend over, baby.” His voice was so rough and gravelly it made Bucky shiver.
Bucky obliged quickly, and Steve wasted no time in spreading Bucky’s ass and placing the width of his tongue over Bucky’s little pink asshole, letting the split that had collected in his mouth drip down his tongue and over Bucky’s rim and down his perineum, coating his balls in slick saliva.
Once Bucky’s hole was wet enough, Steve put his mouth fully over the puckered flesh, sucking at the rim hard. Bucky cried out, shoving his ass back into Steve’s face and reaching down to slowly stroke his own cock.
Next, Steve straightened his tongue and slowly breached Bucky’s entrance, letting Bucky’s flesh tense and relax around him. Meanwhile, Bucky kept up a string of pleas and cries, begging Steve for anything and everything.
“So good, Stevie, so fucking good—God—fuck!” Bucky growled. “Yesyesyes—please, Stevie—more—want your fingers—”
Steve could never deny Bucky.
Retracting his mouth, he sucked one finger into his mouth and covered it until it was dripping wet, then slowly entered Bucky’s hole, glistening with spit in the dim fluorescent light of the bathroom.
“You like that, baby?” Steve asked as he started fucking Bucky with his finger. “You like me licking out this sloppy little hole?”
“Steve—yes—fuck—”
“You like me eating you out on this dirty bathroom floor? You’d let me fuck you anywhere, wouldn’t you, Buck?”
“Yes, yes, please—”
“You’re filthy, baby—fucking filthy for me—all for me, right?”
“Yeah, Stevie, only for you—please let me come—”
“Come for me, sweetheart—that’s right—” Steve leaned forward and licked around the finger pumping in and out of Bucky’s ass, reaching his other hand around to play with Bucky’s balls until he could feel them drawing up against his body. Bucky let out a few little moans, breathless and sweet, and then Steve felt the other man’s release dripping down onto his hand.
Bucky leaned against the stall, pressing his face against the cool metal, while Steve took away his finger and gave a few soft licks to Bucky’s rim. Then he stood up and slotted himself behind Bucky, kissing up and down his neck, sweeter and softer than he had any right to be after the depraved words he spoke.
Bucky slowly turned around, a little shaky on his feet and a little awkward with his pants still down. They kissed, sloppy and hot, until Bucky reached for Steve’s erection.
Steve stopped him with his hand that wasn’t covered in come. “I want to take you back home. Wanna come in your ass.”
Bucky groaned low in his throat and nodded, mouthing at Steve’s cheek and jaw. “Want that—yes—please, Steve—”
Steve chuckled and pulled away. He locked eyes with Bucky, keeping eye contact as he brought his hand up and licked the come off his fingers, sucking them into his mouth one at a time. “You always taste so good, Buck.”
He offered some to Bucky, and he took his fingers in between his plump red lips and sucked all of his own cream off, not blinking once as he worked.
Once they were cleaned up, Steve helped Bucky put his pants back on, and then kissed him once more. “Let’s go home.”
Later that night, as they cuddled in Bucky’s bed, Steve’s come still leaking out of Bucky’s ass, Bucky murmured into Steve’s shoulder. “We gotta get her back, Stevie.”
Steve sighed. He had thought the same thing a hundred times in the past week alone. “I know… But how?”
“I don’t know… But we have to figure it out.”
“Wait, wait—” Wanda grunted in the middle of the stairwell, between the fourth and fifth floors. “Wait! I said wait!”
All the girls around the dresser groaned. Two on one end and two on the other, Kate in the middle doing her best to keep the piece of furniture together, the girls paused their hefting and heaving at Wanda’s demand.
They had found the dresser on the curb two blocks down and had come too far to give up now—especially when dressers this size would usually cost upwards of three hundred dollars, more money than any of them had put together.
But moving furniture was never easy, not when the elevator was broken and they lived on the top floor.
“What?” Kate snapped, poking her knee forward to stop one of the dresser drawers from sliding out and falling through the stair rail and down four and a half floors. “Why are we stopping?”
A petulant whine came from Wanda’s throat. “I need a break!”
“Oh my God!” America moaned, “We’re almost there!”
“We’re only halfway there!” Wanda protested, gently setting the dresser down on the landing. “This thing is fucking heavy!”
“Are you seriously doing this?” Y/N asked, stationed right beside Wanda. She adjusted her grip on the dresser so it wouldn’t fall down and squash Kamala and America.
“I have no endurance, okay?”
“At least she admits it,” America muttered, and the girls huffed a laugh, too out of breath for much else.
Kamala groaned “We need to speed this along! I have a meeting with my advisor in forty minutes.”
“For what?” America asked.
“Changing some classes to fit my major.”
“What’s your major?” Y/N asked. She hadn’t yet gotten to know the other girls very well, only having lived with them for about a week. Classes were about to start and she was nervous enough—she hadn’t even thought about a major yet. It seemed like every time she turned a corner, there was another thing she was behind on.
And the list was mounting—she hadn’t done her FAFSA, hadn’t signed up to the bill sharing website they needed for utilities, hadn’t bought the required textbooks for her classes. She had only picked her classes a few days prior—and the pickings were slim so close to the start of the semester. The four classes she chose included a seminar, a class about ancient history, a chemistry course, and an introductory art class as an elective. While trying to find classes, she realized she knew almost nothing about anything, so she decided to try a well-rounded schedule of courses this semester to try and figure out what exactly she wanted to do with her life.
“I’m film,” Kamala said.
“What about you guys?” Y/N asked.
“I’m doing theater,” America said, “But after I graduate I’m going to law school.”
Kate said, “I’m doing engineering. I’m torn between chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.”
Wanda added, “I’m doing business. My dad wants me to take over the liquor business one day, so I guess I’m getting ready for that.”
Y/N hadn’t even thought about graduation or anything after that. She couldn’t fathom the work that went into engineering, or law, or business, or getting a job, or—
“What about you?” Kate asked her.
“I’m undecided,” she shrugged. “I don’t really know what I want to do yet.”
Wanda smiled at her and nudged her with her knee. “You have plenty of time to figure it out.” She smiled back, but there was a sinking feeling in her stomach, a suspicion that she wasn’t good enough or smart enough, inadequate in so many ways.
Did she even deserve to go to NYU? Was this truly the right place for her?
Or was her purpose in life to serve the mob, as her parents had told her all her life?
Kamala grunted, lifting the dresser again. “Can we get going? I don’t want to be late.”
They all started lifting together, grunting and groaning in turn, when a familiar voice called from the bottom of the stairwell.
“You girls need help?”
“Ouch!” Wanda yelped as Y/N stumbled and almost dropped the dresser on her foot. The blood left her face and she started to sweat—and not from the physical exertion.
Bucky’s face appeared on the other end of the dresser, taking the load off of Kamala and America. “Here, you girls get the sides.”
Y/N remained silent as Bucky directed them up the rest of the stairs, carrying most of the weight of the dresser and helping America position it in her room.
“There ya go,” he breathed, wiping his hands on his pants.
“Thank you so much!” America said, a wide grin on her face. “I mean, we could’ve done it without you, but I probably would’ve ended up punching Wanda in the face with all her whining.”
“Hey!” Wanda frowned, smacking America lightly on the arm.
Bucky chuckled. “Anything for one of Y/N’s friends.”
The three girls who knew nothing of Bucky turned to face Y/N, shocked.
Kate asked, “You know him?”
“Why didn’t you say something?” Kamala asked.
Her response was an awkward chuckle. “Well I was trying not to drop the dresser… So…” She hadn’t looked at Bucky once since they got into the apartment, pointedly avoiding eye contact with him now as he stared at her.
It was his first time seeing her in a few weeks, and his heart leapt at the sight—she looked good, really good. Hair shiny, skin glowing, nails painted bright red. She wore high waisted shorts that showed off just the slightest hint of her ass, and a skintight off-the-shoulder top.
Bucky missed her, but he had to admit, if this is how she was dressing now, maybe college was the right decision for her.
“Why don’t you show me around, sweetheart?”
Y/N glared at him; however, he knew she wouldn’t say anything against him—hoped, at least, that there still might be something left of their obedient little doll. Still, she hesitated, worry on her face behind her anger.
Wanda touched her arm. “I’ll keep an ear out.”
She sent Wanda a grateful look and turned to leave the room. As they left, Wanda whispered to the other girls, “He’s her ex-boyfriend. Total asshole.”
Bucky rolled his eyes at that but paid close attention to the girl in front of him as she showed him the living room and kitchen. He noticed they seemed to have no space for anything, boxes all over the place, counters cluttered with pots and pans. That was run of the mill for a Manhattan apartment, but he was sure it was a pain in the ass.
He followed along as she pointed out each bedroom in the hallway. “And this one’s mine,” she said shortly, stopping in front of the closed door at the end. She made no move to open it.
“You gonna show me inside?”
“No.”
He chuckled, delighted at her fiery attitude. He could deal with the brattiness as long as she was actually speaking to him. “C’mon, sweetheart. I swear I won’t try anything. We’ll leave the door open.”
The way he looked at her with eyes so earnest, big and blue and pleading—it weakened her resolve. She considered it for a moment and then looked away from him, chewing on her lip, suddenly a little shy. “It’s really small. Nothing fancy.”
“Darling, I just wanna see it. I don’t care how it looks.” He brushed past her and took hold of the doorknob, letting himself inside.
Small was an understatement. Her queen-sized bed took up half the space, and the rest of it was filled with boxes. The walls were drab—greying white, holes in the drywall everywhere. Clothes littered her bed and the desk chair from her old room that was shoved into a corner between the wall and the bed.
She weaved her way through the boxes and plopped on the bed, leaning back on her hands and staring up at him. “I don’t have room for a dresser. And I don’t have closet space. So…” Her sentence finished with a shrug.
“Aw, honey…” He frowned, surveying the space, mind working with how he could help. “Maybe I can build you some shelves. Hang ‘em up right here, and here,” he pointed to a few spaces on the walls. “I could put hooks or racks in them so you can hang your clothes.”
Her mouth twitched. “You don’t have to do that. Really, it’s fine.”
“I want to. It’s the least I can do, after…”
For a moment, she said nothing. Then she asked, “How did you get my address?”
“Natasha told me.” It was a lie, but she didn’t need to know about the extent of his and Steve’s scheming over the past two weeks.
“Why did you come here?”
He pulled his backpack off, and that was when she noticed it wasn’t his backpack, it was hers. It was the one she had packed for the few days before her dad’s funeral, when she was staying at the boys’ apartment. She had left her things there and completely forgotten about it until now.
“You left this stuff at our place. I wanted to return it.”
“…Oh.”
“And I wanted to check on you. I wanted to see how you were doing.”
Her lips seemed to waver between a smile and a frown, pink and glossy, just like when he first kissed her at her birthday party. He kept his distance, not trusting himself if he was too close to her, and definitely not here, in her room, which smelled like her, like sweet flowers and vanilla.
“When do classes start?”
“Next week.”
“What’s your schedule like?” She hesitated, looking at him with an untrusting, wary expression. He sighed, holding up his hands in innocence. “Just so I know when to come and install the shelves.”
Her eyes narrowed at him, but she relented. “I have classes every day in the mornings and swim practice every afternoon. I’m looking for a job too but I don’t have anything yet. You can come next weekend.”
He smiled at her, that bright, happy grin that lit up her childhood. “Great. I’ll see you then.”
He turned to leave, and before she could stop herself, she scrambled off the bed and grabbed his wrist before he could go. “That was it? That’s all you came for?”
Looking down at her, he nodded, schooling his expression into one of honesty and concern, which was exceptionally difficult when all he felt was hunger for her. “Yeah—what were you thinking?”
Quickly, she let go of his hand. He immediately missed the feeling of her soft skin on his. “I don’t know.”
He smiled again and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. God, how was she so soft? “You seem happy, darling. And I want you to know I’m proud of you for making it here, making it to NYU. You seem to be doing well.”
She paused, then nodded. “I am.”
“Good.”
And with that, he gave her bare shoulder a squeeze and left the room without another word. She stood still, shocked for a moment, focusing entirely on the tingling feeling where his hand touched her shoulder, wondering why her skin was breaking into goosebumps just from a simple, innocent touch.

Emotions Get the Better (1)
My first Arthur Fleck x reader installation. There should be more to follow. But who knows. I’m all over the place. Enjoy!
~~~~
You were always a very emotional person. All around over-emotional on any layer of the spectrum of emotions. You’d feel a pit in your stomach and a lump in your throat when you’d see a particularly beautiful ballet performance while at work. If you found something even minorly funny, but it touched you in a certain way, you’d cackle. If you got genuinely angry at something, you’d shout until your throat hurt; and if you were angry enough, you’d start to cry. Full circle of tears.
Hormones, your mom would blame it on when you were growing up. You did have some hormonal imbalances but you’d been taking pills for that most of your life. Fucking pills. If you could, you’d never take a single pill the rest of your life; but then you think about it too hard and you think you’ll drop dead after one day without meds. So you keep picking up your prescriptions.
Anyway, as of late there’d been new and strange occurrences on your commute to work. You worked at the biggest theater in Gotham as an usher. They held bands, cultural shows, and dance performances, and they were planning on a Gala screening of Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times in the upcoming month. You were excited for that and kept basically begging your boss to give you a shift for that event. But during your walk from the train station to the theater, swerving through bustling crowds that seem to always intentionally bump into each other, you’d noticed a green tuft of bouncing hair on the other side of the street where you’d normally cross. A clown was dancing, advertising an “Everything Must Go” sale. He seemed happy enough to be doing what he was doing. And you had to stare at him for a little longer than you probably should have. Clowns always gave you the creeps, even if some people genuinely though they were funny. So that day, you waited until the next block to cross the street.
And you realized this guy had a decent gig because he’d be in the same spot on that street every day for the next week. You’ve seen him so much you were surprised that by now he hadn’t turned to look at you and beep his red nose at you. Well, you supposed you’d recognize him more than he would recognize one person out of hundreds that pass him every day. But seeing him every day heading to work somehow gave you something to think about during the more boring shifts. Do people see his sign and act and visit the store that’s closing? Is everyone just as perturbed by his clown makeup, hair, and shoes as you so they just ignore him? Do the drapes match the carpet?
You snorted at that last one out loud as you washed your hands in the bathroom sink and splashed water over your tired face after a 7 hour shift, on your feet, with nothing but one 15 minute break to serve as your rest.
You could hear the train rattling on the track above you, so you started sprinting towards the staircase that led up to the platform. And just in time, you sped into the closing doors, your shoulder getting hit with the brunt of the automatic door, which forced open upon your entry. You stood inside the train car and let out an audible, “Whew....” and caught your breath as you stumbled to an empty seat and plopped down on it. Thank god you made it. You would’ve had to wait another 45 minutes for the next one. The train began to rumble forward.
As your breath slowed and your heartbeat returned to normal, you took in your surroundings of this late-night subway car. You shifted your eyes to the left and your jaw almost dropped. Clown guy seemed to be looking at you with a faint smile on his painted face, but quickly turned his head away when you made eye contact with him.
You grinned to yourself and looked down at the empty coffee cup rolling backwards and forwards in the seat across from you. The clown must’ve had a long day to be coming home at this hour of night. And he still was in full garb, wig and all. You didn’t want to be rude, but you finally had the chance to get a good look at him, not just from across the street. You looked at his big clown shoes and had to stifle a genuine laugh. The whole getup on this shitty Gotham train at like midnight was somehow the funniest thing you’d seen in a while. You wanted to snap a picture if you could. The man seemed to be in his own world now that he wasn’t staring at you.
The train pulled into the next stop and a bunch of rowdy teenagers got on and you already wanted to switch train cars. You had a long ways to go before your own stop.
They were all busy yelling and laughing and pushing each other as the train lurched forward, until one of them tapped another on the shoulder and went, “Yo yo yo,” to get his attention. He caught sight of the clown. The boys mellowed out for the time being and all turned to look at the clown, who seemed oblivious he was even a target of theirs.
Slowly, each of the boys started giggling to themselves, making jokes at the clown’s expense.
“Yoho! That’s so fucking creepy, man--”
“What the fuck, are we in a horror movie, like--?”
And one of the more brave teens of the bunch stepped closer to the clown as the train rocked, “Hey, man, going to a birthday party?”
The clown’s eyes shifted up towards the teen and he looked away again, not wanting to get into this.
The teen scoffed and kicked one of his oversized shoes, “You ain’t exactly the funniest clown I’ve seen. You wanna tell a joke? Change my mind?”
You were sitting, trying your hardest not to get involved in this scene. Rule one of being in Gotham was that you always minded your own business. Crazy guy screaming about the mayor and somehow also grilled cheese? You ignore him or get up and calmly move to another car when the train stops. You never make eye contact.
But this poor guy was just minding his own damn business and these dumbass kids are bothering him just because he’s decked out in clown gear. This wasn’t right---
You were shaken out of your own thoughts and actually had to look up when you heard what had to be a laugh, but it came out as a cry, almost. The clown had thrown his hand over his mouth, but behind it he was stifling laughter.
“You’re supposed to make us laugh, bozo! Not the other way around! Jesus!” and now the teen was laughing at the clown.
You couldn’t look away now, as the whole posse was cackling along with the clown. But you knew something was off about the way the clown was laughing. You could see his hand going to hold his throat as a small choking sound made its way out of his mouth, and then the giggling resumed.
“You’re a fucking freak!” one of the other teens yelled and they started to crowd around him, all taunting him. Some were even starting to shove him.
You blessed the heavens since you knew this was one of the shorter stops on the train and you stood up from your seat and loudly yelled, “Hey!” over the sound of the group’s raucous. You just prayed these teens would respect a lady. You wanted to slap yourself just for that stupid thought.
They turned to look at you and you almost clammed up before saying slowly, “Listen, can we just leave the guy be?”
“He started laughing at me! Don’t you think he’s a fucking creep, lady?”
“You know, maybe he wasn’t laughing at you. Maybe he just remembered a joke and started laughing at that. He is a clown, so he’s supposed to find things funny. You think you can just switch cars? Please, he wasn’t going to bother anyone.”
The train screeched to a halt and the teens all looked around at each other. It seemed your politeness took them for a loop because they weren’t used to having to deal with manners. You gave them one of your stern looks you saved for especially rude patrons at work.
“Aight, I mean, I guess you want some alone time with your boyfriend. Have a good night, miss,” the teen who got up close to the clown said to you with a sneer to his voice and a glint in his eye. As the doors opened, the boys scurried out together. One of them tripped over the clown’s big shoe and the others continued to laugh at him.
They were gone, into another car or hopefully back out on the streets so they could go home to their damn families. The train moved forward once more.
You looked down at the clown who you realized had stopped laughing and was now looking up at you with what you could probably describe as shock, but you didn’t want to be that generous towards yourself. You took a seat beside him, “Kids can be such assholes, right? Geez... are you okay?” you saw his wig was now crooked and long brown locks peeked out from under it.
“I’m fine,” he finally answered after a little too long of a pause, and added, “Thank you. That was very nice of you.”
“No problem. Just maybe in the future change out of your getup before coming on the train?”
The man looked at you and his lips twitched upward in what could have been a smile if he didn’t let them fall back to the almost-frown he had on before.
You looked at him a bit longer. He had such a meek voice. You never would’ve guessed he sounded like that just from seeing him dancing from across the busy Gotham street. But now that you were up close to him, you can see how delicate his frame was, how oversized all of his clothes really were on him, not just his shoes.
“When do you get off?” you asked.
“N-Not for a while. Second to last stop.”
“Okay. Mine’s a bit before that, so I’ll just ride with you until then.”
The clown stared at you as if you were from another planet before he cleared his throat gently and slid the green wig off his head and put it away with care into a big duffel bag he carried with him.
You got more comfortable in your seat and let out a yawn. The ride went smoothly for the next few stops, the clown not interacting with you at all. You could feel like he wanted to say something to you or turn and look at you, but all he did was sit and look down at his lap.
“I’m Arthur,” he finally said in a voice just above a whisper, and he looked at you.
You looked back at him and gave him a smile, sharing your first name with him, as well.
“I’ve seen you around, Arthur,” you finally brought up the topic you most wanted to address, “You’re in front of the shop that’s closing down. I pass by you on my way to work.”
“Oh, I--- Well, I’m sorry I haven’t noticed you before.”
“Not your fault, I mean, I walk on the other side of the street and you have no reason to literally notice me out of every person that passes by you each day. How’d you get the clown gig?”
Your eyes kept drifting down to his vest because looking at the clown makeup in such close proximity for too long was starting to skeeve you out.
“It’s something I’ve always thought I’d be good at. I’m actually a comedian.”
“Oh,” you nodded and smiled, “I can see the connection.”
There was more silence and Arthur fiddled with the hem of his shirt. Your stop was finally here and you stood up, “Well, I’ll see you, Arthur. I’ll say hi more directly next time I go to work. Stay safe.”
“Th-Thank you again,” he said probably the most confidently he’d said anything during his interaction with you.
You stepped off the train and gave him a small wave. Doing something like that for someone made you feel sooooo good. Wow, you need to be participating in more selfless deeds more often. You can see how people say helping less fortunate is rewarding. You made an audible sound like a scoff as you walked through the late night Gotham streets; who the fuck are you to be thinking shit like that? God, your mind was everywhere lately. Maybe you would try and walk on Arthur’s side of the street tomorrow. Maybe it’ll make him happy. Maybe it’ll make the both of you feel a little bit better.
StarChild Assassin: The Final Part
So..it’s come to an end at last.. Thank you all for taking this ride with me~ I appreciate all of your encouragement and your love for the crazy stuff I’ve written~ You guys rock!
~Shandi
While settling into their new jobs, Peter encounters a familiar face from his past, while Eric gives Paul a wonderful surprise.
LIPS LIKE POISON Part 20
Out of all the possible places for them to end up, Peter never dreamed getting away from his former turbulent life was what it would take to finally bring him to Vegas. It was everything he’d always hoped it would be. Big. Flashy. Loud. His holy land. It still amazed him that Eric remembered. The two-floor townhouse they lived in was only a few miles away from the bright lights of the Strip (Mostly to make the commute to work easier. Gene had a head for practicality after all). He found himself looking out the window every night with an excitement he hadn’t felt in a long time. Tomorrow he and Eric would be starting their new jobs.
One floor below Eric and Paul were settling into bed. Eric was still wearing a huge smile as he cuddled his boyfriend. “Did you see the look on Peter’s face? I hadn’t seen him look like that in years. It was just like the good old days~” Paul lazily stroked his boyfriend’s hair. “It makes me happy to see you happy, baby~ You excited to be playing again?” Eric sighed happily. “I can’t tell you how happy I am~ I’m not just playing alone, I’m playing with Peter! I…I think I’m gonna cry..”
“Awww, baby you are crying~”
“I’m emotional! Hold me!”
Paul laughed and held his boyfriend close, kissing his cheek and his lips. “Don’t lose it completely before you even start..I haven’t had a chance to watch you and yell ‘that’s my baby’~” Turning off the lights he stroked Eric’s chin to calm him, drifting off to sleep to the gentle sounds of his purrs.
In the morning Eric sat in front of the vanity mirror while Paul brushed and pinned up his hair. “I dunno how I feel about wearing a wig..” Paul huffed. “I will not have you doing terrible things to your gorgeous golden mane, baby. Besides..you can just think of it as part of your costume~”
“Well..yeah I guess that works for me~”
“I hoped you’d say that~” Paul took out the wig from its box and placed it on Eric’s head, adjusting it until it fit just right. “That feel okay? Not too tight?” Eric studied his reflection. He never thought shorter black hair would fit him so well. “It feels just fine, babe. Thanks~” Paul took a few steps back to admire his boyfriend from afar. “Nobody will ever be able to tell that’s not your real hair. I am good~” Eric grinned, grabbing his boyfriend’s waist and pulling him closer for a kiss. “You’re better than good, babe..you’re incredible~” He glanced up at the clock. “Oh shit we’re gonna be late if we don’t leave right now! Sorry to kiss and run! Seeya tonight!” He grabbed his keys, giving Paul one last kiss before rushing out the door…and nearly running into Peter. “‘Bout time y’got the lead out your ass! We gotta go!”
“I know..my fault..”
“Have a good day, you two~”
Peter’s eyes went wide as they turned onto the Strip. “Holy shit…everything is so much bigger than I imagined as a kid. There’s a wild energy in this place that you can feel as soon as you enter. I’m here. I’m workin’ here. If this is a dream I don’t ever wanna wake up.” Eric smiled. “Even if it is a dream I’m glad we’re sharing it~”
“Me too, Little Cat~”
‘Little Cat’. Hearing that nickname no longer hurt. And hearing Peter say it now gave Eric the most joy he’d felt since he met Paul. As they pulled into the hotel’s garage Peter caught sight of a very familiar statue. “W-what is this..? Where are we..?” Eric couldn’t keep himself from smiling any longer. “This is where we’re working now! The New York, New York! Thought I’d keep it a secret as a surprise~ You like?” Peter could only nod his head in stunned silence. “It’s like..being home away from home. You had this all planned out from the beginning didn’t ya?”
“Guilty as charged~”
“Bet your ass I got some words. But later cause we gotta get in there!”
After finally finding a parking space they booked it into the hotel in search of the Event Coordinator. A half an hour of getting totally lost later they managed to find her. “Excuse us!!” Eric yelled, completely out of breath. “Really sorry..ahh..we’re uh…Eric Mensinger and George Criscuola..we..applied for the stage show positions..?” The Coordinator huffed and them with her hands on her hips. “It’s about time you got here..I was about to mark you down as no-shows! Dressing rooms are this way! You got 15 minutes to get ready! Rehearsal’s in 20 and don’t worry about the makeup we’ll figure that out later!” Eric and Peter glanced at each other. So much for a no-pressure job. Once they were shown to their room they got to work picking out costumes. “Oh I like these~” Eric said, taking two that he favored off the rack. Here ya go..Panther~” Peter looked his costume over with amusement. “Panther eh? And what are you gonna be?” Eric grinned, holding up his shredded and spotted costume. “I’m Jaguar~”
“The Untamed Cats are loose again~”
Rehearsals went better than they expected. They were even applauded for their skills with their drum sets. Peter felt re-energized and Eric was just plain overjoyed. He knew his mentor hadn’t lost it completely. With their jobs secured they went back to their dressing room to change and celebrate with a drink. A feeling nagged at Eric that something wasn’t right. “I..didn’t leave the door open..did you..?” Peter shook his head. “I’ll check it out.” He pushed the door open slowly. Whoever was inside had their back turned to him, but he’d recognize those curves from fifty feet away.
“It really is a small world isn’t it..?”
“Vinnie..”
“Even with a different hair color I recognized you.” Vinnie turned to him, his face an impassive mask. “I like to visit the other hotels to watch the rehearsals for their new shows. I couldn’t believe it was you. I had to see for myself.” Peter nodded the all-clear to Eric and closed the door. They needed some time alone. “I’d ask how you got back here but I think I already know the answer. Are you..stayin’ here too?” Vinnie nodded. “I work at the Luxor. Quite a ways from here but something compelled me to come.”
“God knows why after all the shit I did to ya.”
“If you actually believe that what you did was wrong, you’ve already taken the first steps to changing.” Vinnie took a few steps closer. “For a long time I believed you were perfect. That your abuse was love. When you hurt me..I thought I deserved it. I was convinced I couldn’t do better. It takes an even longer time to see reality for what it truly is after your blinders are taken off.” Peter sighed deeply. “Can’t disagree there..”
“I never thought I’d hear you say those words. You really have changed~”
Peter sat in his chair at stared at himself in the mirror. “For a long time I kept tellin’ myself there was worth to what I did. I was takin’ my revenge out on the world for the shit I’d done to myself. I used people. I killed em. I stole. I cheated. And I didn’t give a damn about the consequences cause I thought I couldn’t be touched.” He pointed to the door. “That kid out there..he was the only one who saw through it all. He chased after me..he begged me to let him help me..even though I’d been tryin’ to kill him. If that’s not a fuckin’ wake up call I dunno what is.” Vinnie sat in the chair beside him. “Call me crazy but..in some strange way..maybe we were meant to meet again like this. Just to..show each other how much we’ve grown..” He reached out to touch Peter’s hair. “I want to try again with you. Even after everything…I thought my feelings for you would disappear..but seeing you again now just brought them all rushing back like a tidal wave. Let’s…let’s give ourselves a chance to love each other the right way..” At that moment Peter couldn’t find the words to reply. He just pulled Vinnie into a tight embrace. “You’re a fuckin’ jewel, Baby Doll and you deserve to be treated like one. If you really think I’m worth it then all I can give you is my word that I won’t fuck it up this time.” Vinnie nuzzled his neck. “Come see me at the Luxor tonight~ Room 1135.” When the door opened again Eric jerked his head up. Seeing Vinnie nod to him and leave he went inside. “Peter? Everything okay?” Peter was quiet for a while before he answered. “Hm? Oh yeah, fine. Just had to repair some bridges. Let’s get out of this stuff and get outta here huh? I wanna go home and freshen up for later.” Eric smirked. “Ohhhhh I see~” Peter sighed, already picturing the relentless teasing he’d have to put up with on the drive back home.
“Welcome home boys~!” Paul hugged them as soon as they walked in the door. “I hope you’re both hungry cause I ordered pizza!” Eric smiled and pulled his boyfriend close for a kiss. “Mm..you’re so thoughtful, babe. I’m starving~ Peter however..he’s got a date~” Paul’s eyes lit up. “You don’t say~?” They heard Peter stomp up the stairs in a huff. “Dammit Eric don’t make me smack your Little Cat ass!!” After hearing the door slam they burst into laughter. Kicking their own door closed, Eric ripped off his wig and tossed it onto the couch. “Ugggggh freedom!! I dunno how people can wear these things all the time..especially if they still have hair! They make your head sweat..and itch!” Paul helped him pull out the ridiculous amount of hairpins he’d used earlier that morning. “Poor baby~ Why don’t we eat..and then we can take a niiiice cool shower~?” Eric nodded eagerly. “Ohhhh babe that sounds goooood~ Let’s get into that pizza then cause I want in that shower like..hours ago.” While they had dinner Peter let himself in, dressed in a crisp white button up shirt with pinstriped slacks and vest, complete with his favorite black leather shoes. Paul had to do a double take. “Ohhhh my, baby..I didn’t know your Big Cat cleaned up so nicely~ Maybe I should have him take me out sometime~” Peter chuckled. “Sure why not? With you an’ Vinnie on my arms lookin’ pretty I’d be the envy of Vegas~” Paul choked on his drink. “Did you say Vinnie?!”
“Yeah I did. Met up with him earlier. I’m goin’ over to the Luxor to see him. Borrowin’ the car. Don’t wait up for me, kids~” He picked up the keys and was gone without another word. Paul was still in shock. “H-he didn’t just say Vinnie..did he..?”
“Yep. He did.”
“So it’s true?”
“Yep. Saw him myself.”
“Well, what are the odds..?”
“Astronomical..but here we are.”
“Oh this’ll be fun to tease him about~”
“I get to do it first~”
“No fair! You got to do it while you drove back here!”
Eric shot his boyfriend a suggestive look. “I’ll wrestle you for it~” Paul laughed. “You’re more than welcome to pin me to the floor..but..shower first~” He got up from his chair and grabbed his boyfriend’s arm, leading him to the bathroom. “Lemme take care of you, Pussy-Cat..I’ll even wash your hair~” Eric was already half way undressed. “Can’t say no to an offer like that~” Once the shower was ready Eric stepped in, closed his eyes and let himself relax. The cool water felt amazing. His boyfriend’s gentle hands just made the experience even better. He purred like a contented house cat while his hair was being washed which amused Paul to no end. “I hope I can get you purring like that in bed tonight~” Eric reached back to stroke his boyfriend’s thigh. “You keep using your hands like that and it’s all but guaranteed~” He groaned as his boyfriend grasped his cock and nibbled at his ear. “Why don’t we get a head start right now~?”
“Fuck yes…make me really purr, babe~”
They ended up staying in the shower for much longer than they intended.
Eric and Peter fell into their routine pretty easily. They rehearsed daily until the show was to open two months later. The morning of opening night Paul helped Eric apply his makeup and wig. “I saw a commercial for the show earlier~” Paul said as he painted on Eric’s ‘whiskers’. “’Come experience the Music of the Wild! Only at the New York, New York Hotel & Casino, the biggest urban jungle on the Strip!’ I can’t wait to see you tonight, baby..I’m so proud of you~” Eric’s blush was well hidden by his white facepaint. “Thanks, babe~ I’m so damn nervous but I’m excited too! Looking over at Peter always helps me calm down though, you know? I think as long as I do that I’ll be alright~” Paul kissed the top of his head. “You’re both gonna go up on stage and you’re gonna rock that show. I just know it. And I’ll be right there cheering you on~” There was a knock at the bathroom door. “Just me, Little Cat!” Peter said. “I’m ready to go whenever you are!” Eric exhaled, looking himself over in the mirror one last time. “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be, I guess. Almost done! Be right out! Babe, since Peter’s got his own car now I’m gonna drive over with him so you can take our car to the show tonight. Don’t forget to get there early~” Paul took both of his boyfriend’s hands and squeezed them tightly. “I won’t, promise~ Go out there and kill ‘em, Jaguar~”
Driving over to the Strip was nothing short of chaotic, but by some miracle Paul managed it. After parking in the garage he raced into the hotel. While standing in line he reached into his jacket to find his ticket. Feeling someone tap his shoulder he turned, coming face to face with Vinnie. “You!”
“Yes. Me.”
“What are you doing here?”
“Why do you think I’m here?”
“My guess is to see Peter.”
“Your guess is correct~”
Paul sighed and let his shoulders relax. “Of course you are. Sorry..sometimes I forget we’re not still in real New York. This place..brings back a lot of memories..” Vinnie nodded slowly. “It certainly does. Fortunately for us, our pasts were left back in real New York. I’m willing to forgive and forget if you are.” Paul took Vinnie’s hand and shook it. “We’ve come too far to let whatever happened fuck anything up now. It’s forgotten~” They handed over their tickets and went inside. The interior was beautiful and elaborately decorated to look like a jungle. Paul looked around in awe. “Wow..they really do go very big here don’t they?” Vinnie chuckled. “Well..it is Vegas~” While looking for their seats in the front row they discovered they sat only a small distance away from each other. Paul raised a curious eyebrow. “I’d say this was a coincidence but I don’t buy that for a second. Do you?” Vinnie shook his head. “No way in hell~” They both laughed quietly as the theater went dark.
The show was quite the spectacle. The dancers were beautifully painted to look like various jungle animals. The band was lined across the back of the stage with Eric and Peter’s drum sets on opposite ends. As the crowd applauded and cheered for them Paul struggled to fight back his tears. They were both incredible. And together they were magic. In the middle of the second act some of the dancers leapt from the stage prowled through the aisles, looking for people to take with them. Paul was completely caught off guard when one of the zebras took his hands and lifted him out of his seat. Before he knew it he was on the stage with a few other bewildered people, not knowing what they should do. He was so distracted by the other dancers he didn’t notice Eric climb down from his drum set and approach him. Only when his hand was taken did he stop looking around frantically and realize his boyfriend was there. “Oh my god, Eric what’s going on?!” he shouted, not even sure if he could be heard over the loud music. Eric just smiled and got down on one knee in front of him.
HE WASN’T!!
Sure enough Eric took a small box out of one of the pouches on his costume and opened it, revealing a gorgeous silver ring lined with small diamonds. Paul was struck absolutely speechless. He covered his mouth with a shaky hand, using all of the self control he could possibly manage to nod his head. It all seemed like a hazy dream. Eric stood, taking the ring from its box and slipping it onto his finger. The crowd cheered loudly. The dancers jumped around the stage in celebration. Paul saw none of it. All he saw was the man he was now engaged to. As they kissed the crowd went wild.
To everyone else this was just Vegas.
To Paul it was the most wonderful day of his entire life.
You Perv! P1
REAL LIFE: COUPLE: TBS X READER RATING: 100000000% SMUT!
(tiny warning! This is based loosely or well was inspired by this anime called heavens lost property...now this anime is kinda know for being a pile of perverted smut so... If that's not your thing I suggest moving on, but you have been warned)
I sighed as I stretched with a little yawn the sun coming in around my curtains, my covers warm and snugly, I went to move feeling my pj pants and boxers around my ankles restricting my movement they made me remember about last night... Ummmm last night. I smirked a little in my still hazy morning state resting my arm behind my head thinking about last night I moved my other hand around under my covers but, I couldn't find them I looked down to the floor and spotted the purple and blue spotted panties on my floor so I quickly grabbed them bundling them in my hand ummm so soft, so silky I laid back relaxing in the sweet morning light I brought my hand to my mouth lightly giving the panties a little kiss humm they still taste like her I sighed feeling my now rock hard morning wood pressing against my covers it throbbed begging to be touched well? I'm sure I have enough time to...give him what he needs for now so I slipped my hand down grabbing the base lightly stroking my cock "uhhh... Ummmm ohh y/n" I groan still to sleepy to really focus on anything but the pleasure rubbing my thumb around the soft panties I know I'm close already-
"THOMAS! GET UP WE'LL BE LATE!" I heard a familiar voice yell as well as fast steps running up my stairs so I grabbed my boxers and pj pants quickly pulling them up and hiding the panties in my bedside draw turn pretending to be asleep as I heard my door open. I heard her soft steps across my bedroom floor "Thomas... Time to get up?" I heard her smile so I turned and opened my eyes little y/n my next door neighbor she has a key for emergency which she does use pretty much every day and we have class together so she always comes over to get me up her cute hair done up in a little bun and I smile at her
"Good morning" I yawn
"Get up else we'll miss the bus" she says going to leave the room I sat up watching her every step away in that little skirt and the gap between where her thigh high socks stopped and the skirt began... Ohh that little but of skin drives me crazy I smirked trying to peak up her skirt and she turned so I sat up again "ohh and Thomas before I forget, have you done the homework for miss Lynne's class?" She asks leaning on my door, ohh god her boobs almost falling out if that low cut band tee lightly squished against the door frame ohh I just wanna rub my face in them "Thomas?" She asks interrupting me from my naughty thoughts
"Miss Lynne's class? Homework?" She asks
"Uhh no, I'll do it when we get in" I tell her I felt my hand uncontrollably rubbing my cocks shaft thought my pants looking at her
"Alright but I don't think you'll have time" she laughs walking out my room leaving the door open ummm I love watching her walk away watching her thighs rub together where she always keeps her legs shut tight ummm it was so hot like I wanted to force those leg open and see what she's hiding as soon as she was out of my view I sped my hand up hoping for an orgasm before class I know I'm so close already so desperate even after last night "Thomas! I am serious get out of bed and put pants on!" Y/n yells as she came back I quickly moved my had away sitting up
"I'm up I'm up" I tell her
"Do I have to drag you out?" She asks sarcastically no but I wanna drag you in y/n
"No, I'm getting there" I sigh
"Out now! Else we will be late!" She yells pulling my covers away her eyes instantly met my rock hard bulge in my pants and she knew "YOU DIRTY PERV!" she yells hitting my head
"Owww! It's just morning wood y/n I didn't do it in purpose" I complain getting up starting to gather my clothes for today
"It's always in purpose with you, I swear your so lazy all the time your dick must be where all your energy goes" she says as she checked her make up in my mirror bent over just a little checking her face close to the reflection...
"Ummm maybe, it's saving all its energy for the dirty little whore next door" I smirk grabbing her tightly from behind rubbing my cock in her arse my hand instantly taking a grip on her left breast the slightly bigger of the two my other hand running down the front of her thigh and grabbing her pussy rubbing the soft cotton above her clit as I kissed down her neck
"Ohh Thomas!" She muttered her breath fast and jagged making her breasts bounce perfectly
"Humm takes those clothes off" I tell her rubbing on her clit much harder
"Uhh yes my master" she moans starting to undo her skirt buttons and zip letting it drop to my floor revealing her white cotton panties
"White? Humm what a slut, you know you can't wear white darling" I smirk and she giggled undoing her shirt "not fast enough" I moan ripping her shirt to Shreds grabbing her breasts groping them they felt like heaven I grabbed each cup of her bra and snapped it in the middle letting it drop of her body revealing those pale huge breasts To my eyes her nipples hard to the cold air I grabbed them both giving them a soft twist making her melt into my arms "that's my girl" I smirk
"Do you want me on your bed master?" She asks
"Humm you always know what I want y/n" I smirk pushing her over so she laid bent over my bed her face on my covers, her breasts hanging down, her nipples rubbing on my duvet, her legs wide, those lines white panties saturated so I ripped them clean off her body leaving her in nothing but those shoes and her thigh high socks my eyes trailed up towards her-
"THOMAS!"y/n yelled snapping me into reality she still stood checking herself in my mirror as I sorted my clothes "what is up with you today?" She asks
"Nothing" I answer "go on bugger off so I can put pants on" I tell her and she giggled going downstairs so I shut my door and quickly got changed having to stand re arranging my cock a few times to try and make it not be obvious in my jeans today grabbing my stuff and heading down where y/n stood waiting for me
"At last wondered if you got lost" she laughed as we left and I locked up my little house, I do technically share with my friend jack but he has pretty much moved in with his girlfriend now, y/n had a housemate too lilly? But... I think she moved out I don't know I just haven't seen her in ages we all moved out here because it was super cheap and a house between two was a great idea even if it is a long commute for class we waited outside for the bus hopping in being the first on and sitting at the top I dumped my bag next to me on the seat and y/n out hers behind her putting her legs up in the seat I tried to keep my eyes on the window but...
Found it impossible. Looking at those bulky black combat boots following her crossed legs up those light blue socks all the way up to mid thigh then her exposed skin ummm it made my cock throb just looking up and up to the edge of her skirt I could see up it just a little not enough to see the colour or style of her panties but enough I could see leg, leg and uhh the other bit I caught a glimpse of the side where she had sat and obviously tugged he skirt forward to cover herself it left the back a little more exposed so much I followed her skin from the top of the socks up and up and up till I could see the curve of her arse I almost made me groan ...
I checked the bus we where alone so I moved my bag and sat looking at her "What?" She asks
"You are such little slut" I smirk
"Excuse me?" She asks
"You are... Dressing like this? How am I meant to control him?" I ask her grabbing her ankle and making her un cross her legs I licked my lips looking up her little purple skirt a little before grabbing her other ankle and standing up taking her ankles with me pulling her forward on the seat and tipping her legs up so her ankles sat on my shoulders as I stood I smirked looking down at her she was blushing hard holding down her skirt for dear life with both her hands doing her best to keep her thighs clamped shut her eyes shut trying not to look at me I loved it seeing her like this just like when you push up the legs of a Barbie doll but trying to cover herself I laughed at her making her wrap her legs around my waist leaning down on her a little to kiss down her perfect breasts
"Why so shy sugar?" I ask "come on let me see what pretty panties you have in today for me?" I ask between kisses tugging up her skirt but she held it tight rubbing her thighs together
"I didn't wear any today" she blushes her face going all red aww how adorable
"Awww, hummm perfect. My favourite panties of yours... No panties" I smirk forcing her skirt up "Tommy no, were on the bus" she complains trying to keep her thighs together so I wouldn't see much
"Ummm like I care where we are, I want my baby girl and I'm going to have her" I smirk grabbing her thighs and forcing them-
"Over active labdio?" I heard y/n ask from her seat reading her little book
"Hum?" I ask having not been paying attention
"I think that's your problem" she says
"I think I'm just horny, frustrated and desperately need a girlfriend" I tell her the bus now almost full as we where getting close to town
"No, I think there is something seriously wrong with you, I get male horniness but seriously, you are something else Thomas" she says
"Ohh am I?" I smirk
"You know what I mean" she says "your like a pervert in an anime" she says as she reads
"Y/n? Can we not talk about this...now?" I ask
"Excuse me miss this seat taken?" A man asks as he came close to her
"No it's alright, I'm getting off next stop" she smiles taking her bag and sitting beside me "what? Why are you looking at me like that?" She asks
"Like what?" I ask
"Never mind" she shrug as we got to out stop so we went down into the bus station and went down to the trains it is a pain uni is a bus and a train ride away every day but... It's not to bad I guess It does mean I gets a daily dose of my favorite game I called it
'the catch and cuddle'
As soon as we boarded the train there of course being no seats available for us so we stood y/n holding onto the pole and I held the little hang from the ceiling I stood around a little board till at last an opportunity to play the train came to a shuddered stop in a station and of course y/n lost her balance so I grabbed her with my other hand to you know make sure she wouldn't fall over and hurt herself no just because as she fell I could grab onto her arse to save her and even pull her tight against my body...
"Ohh Thomas your so strong, your my hero" she smiled
"Ohh no, no trouble couldn't let a pretty lady fall" I smirk
"Awww how can I repay you?" She asks
"Well I'm sure we could work something out hot stuff" I smirk grabbing her arse hard and slapping her arse making her giggle
"Ooohh what big boy you are Thomas" she smirked running her hands down my jeans "you want to know a secret?" She asks
"Of course" I smirk
"I want him inside me" she begs holding the pole turning away from me lightly bending over
"Right now?" I ask and she nods "well, how could I deny such a beautiful lady this smutty request" I smirk rubbing myself against her grabbing her panties from under her skirt and dropping them to the floor she went to pick them up I assume to put them back in after "no, leave them there, so some other man will know there was a pretty lady here who got what she wanted" I smirk
"But what about class today?" She asks
"Go pantie less, umm I will be sexy" I tell her lightly humping her arse
"Okay" she giggled
"Good, and I want you to bend over all day, just every so bend over and let them all see your pussy" I smirk "and if you go pantie less the though day and do as I ask I'll give you a reward when we get home" I smirk ...
"Thanks Thomas" she nods standing up normally again till we got to our stop and went to our campus, y/n had a class first thing so she went off I had a free period first so I went into the campus gardens they use for the agricultural kids but they where on a trip still so I snuck in and sat on one of the little benches sounded by bushes and trees so know one could see me,I know this is a popular spot as the gravel was scattered with condom wrappers, cigarette papers and other such things I unzipped my bag getting out the little magazine, nothing too serious I keep that at home but I like keeping this in my bag, imagining every girl as y/n, I know I'm in love with her or at least really really wanna fuck her I just can't tell her she'll get mad at me I read for what felt like forever
"Hey" y/n smiled making me jump putting the magazine away
"I thought you had class?" I ask
"Canceled miss Jan has the flu" she says sitting beside me "what are you reading?" She asks
"Nothing" I tell her
"Let me see!" She giggled grabbing the magazine...
"Ummm? Thomas? Are you really so horny you have to carry around this stuff?" She asks and I nod "you really must be desperate" she smiled running her hand down my leg and grabbed my cock thought my pants "what would you rather your sexy pictures... Or me?" She asks
"Ohhh you, always you" I smirk grabbing her waist to tug her closer "I only look at the sexy pictures when there is no you to look at" I tell her
"Really you like looking at me that much?" She asks as she stood in front of me her chest at my eye level that shirt close to ripping trying to contain her and I nod looking at those perfect breasts she smirked slipping off that shirt showing me her bra I was black and huge to make sure her breasts fit inside even I they looked like they would jump out the top the little lace in the middle connecting the cups looked uhhh so flimsy like I could just tug on it and the whole thing would come down her huge straps holding up her huge breasts again made of lace the only but that wasn't was the cup... Umm the bit I want to see, I could see her nipples hard in the cold morning air poking into her bra making them obvious "would you like to see them?" She asks
"God yes! Let me see your pretty tittes babygirl" I beg
"Then let me see how excited he is for me" she smirked getting on her knees and resting her head on her thigh nuzzling there often giving the seem of my jeans soft kisses I smirked licking my lips just looking at her down there I could see the gap between her breasts just big enough to drop a pen down I undid my jeans and pulled out my hard cock and she giggled innocently giving the shaft a few soft kisses making me grab her hair wanting her closer "ohh but Thomas, I think he's to big for me" she complains
"Oh? Well if he's too big for your mouth... Isn't there somewhere else he can go" I smirk looking at her little skirt
"Hehehe no Thomas, I'm still a virgin" she giggled playing with her little skirt
"You are? Ummm uh fuck that's hot, come on won't you let me fuck your innocence away?" I ask her
"Not here" she blushes
"Alright... How about somewhere big and sexy" I ask looking at her breasts she looked down confused and she smiles tugging her bra off her-
"YOU PERVERT!" Y/n yelled as she saw my magazine "why do you have this in your bag! That's gross!" She yells grabbing a lighter from the floor clicking it a couple times and lighting the corner on fire letting it burn on the gravel I didn't stop her I have more at home anyway she came back sitting on the bench but she missed a little and sat on me her thick arse on my crotch I know I only had a couple seconds before she would realize her mistake so I enjoyed it while I could the way her arse was so big it almost hurt to have her here her skirt had flipped up as she sat leaving her panties and my jeans between us I could feel almost everything and it almost made me cum feeling her on top of me I moved my hips a little to grind ohhh it felt so good she noticed she was sat on me and quickly got up sitting where she had been before
"come on we have class" she says getting up and sorting her stuff so I fixed myself up a little as we began to walk out towards the buildings y/n in front of me I tried my best to keep my eyes away but I can't help it I love watching her walk away from me ummmmm I just want to bend her over not even to fuck her just to get a glimpse of her and as if the universe heard my request she tripped in a rock I went to help but I was to late she had fallen onto the gravel on her hands and her knees her skirt had flown up as she fell exposing those little panties they had black elastic around each section making it Cling to her so perfectly they where cotton blue with purple poka dots the opposite of the ones I have at home they must have came from the same pack or something? I could see where the panties hugged her arse making it clear where the valley was, as well as them being tight around her pussy the tightness revealing so much of the structure to me she even had s little wet patch in them close to her clit.
My cock throbbed with need seeing her this way bent over on her knees with her panties showing and I'm the only one to see it I burred my thoughts and helped her up she brushed herself off and smiled "thanks Thomas" she smiles
We headed inside and went to class pretty boring y/n sits either behind me or at the same desk as me so it's not easy to sneak peaks without her or someone else noticing even if when we share a desk I do tend to knock her knee with mine a little I just like feeling her against me even just our knees till I had a class without y/n so I sighed sitting up the back away from everyone I couldn't help but think about what I saw when she tripped If I had the guts I would have pulled those panties down and fucked her right there but I know she would get angry at me in my border I thought back to last night...
A “little” life update and some resolutions
I just wanna update you all “real quick” before I go to bed:
I’ve been feeling really good this week. Almost suspiciously good, but I’m running with it. Here’s a few things that have been going on :)
About a week and a half ago I got my nails done for the first time in an attempt to get rid of my awful nail biting habit, but not only is it helping with that but it also makes me feel SO much better about myself somehow. Like, I didn’t know how much just getting my nails done and loving them could make me feel this confident all of a sudden.
I had probably the best Christmas in a long time. Over the weekend before Christmas I was nervous for my family parties as always but they went really well and I talked to people more than I usually do and actually had a great time. I worked on Christmas Eve but it wasn’t even that bad despite the rude customers that inevitably come in. Then I stayed up really late and I got up early as hell as per usual for my family on Christmas (my little sister is 16 and a half and they still wake everyone up at the crack of dawn lmao). I was up at 7am, went down and opened presents with my family. All of which were really great, but it’s not the presents that matter. I then went to my best friend Faith’s family Christmas party at her grandma’s for the third (or fourth??? Probably actually) year in a row and almost cried because they gave several presents and included me in the impromptu family pictures they decided to do. When Fae and her lovely new boyfriend we’re taking me and Fae’s brother and sibling home we blasted music and sang loud and honestly I had a moment where I wanted to cry because I was so fucking happy. I couldn’t stop thinking about how just a few months ago Fae was in another state in an abusive relationship and now she’s home safe and happy. And how just a few months ago I was struggling with losing a friend and feeling betrayed and used and so sad. And now? I feel like I know who’s got my back and who deserves for me to care about them. Then I went home and spent more time with my family. I even got to help my mom go back to her house to give our puppy his first Christmas present and it was so precious. He went from being a late Christmas present for my sister last year to being part of the family and getting his own present. When we went back to her house at the end of the night he was so happy to see everyone home (and to see me too, since I live with my dad Beaux always goes nuts when I come over and he gets to have his entire family in one spot, he always misses me so much and it’s precious) he ran around the room and cuddled with each person for a minute then switched people for like five minutes before laying down on my mama. Once again I wanted to cry I was so happy.
The day after Christmas, mama and I picked up my best friend to go “look at all the after Christmas sales”. I had to lie to Fae for the first time in our entire friendship; we’d been planning for two weeks to take her shopping as a surprise. She lost most of her belongings to her ex boyfriend when they were together. He either broke shit, ripped shit when he hurt her, stole shit, etc., and she came back with only one small bag of clothes. We took her straight to Rue 21 and told her to pick out anything and everything she wanted, and she cried. Mama used her Rue bucks to save $60 and bought every single thing Fae picked out and wouldn’t let us sort through any of it once we knew what fit and what she wanted. My heart feels so full. I love that girl more than anything in the whole world honestly.
I worked today with my favorite manager and honestly it once again wasn’t that bad. I made a little boy smile when I gave him a balloon and for real that warmed my heart and made my day. Then I went shopping and used my Christmas money form grampa to buy some new clothes. I also found out my best friend Lynsey went into labor with her second lil baby, so I took her and her momma some food in the hospital for her to eat after she gave birth. She had the baby a few hours ago, a healthy baby girl, and I get to visit her tomorrow morning to bring her a couple little gifts and maybe meet the lil bean. I’m so excited.
I always say this and I know everyone else does too, but 2019 is going to be a great year. I’m speaking it into existence now. I’m sure it will still be a struggle, of course. I need to get my license and figure out whether or not I’m dorming at the main campus of my college when I move up in the fall or if I can commute. If I dorm, I’ll need to get a new job. General stuff. But I’m going to get my associates at the beginning of the summer. Finally. And I’m so happy. Then I can continue to work on my bachelor’s. Yes I’m behind in school but I got this. I’m going to start strong with school and stay there. I’m going to never miss a counseling appointment unless I really need to and I’m going to make the appointments mean more and really work on my mental health. I’m going to purge my dresser of all the stuff I never wear and slowly accumulate more new clothes that I really feel good in. I’m going to clean my room and get rid of or donate anything I don’t need anymore.
2019 is the year I’m going to work on self care, self improvement, and self love. I’m going to be healthier both physically and mentally and that starts with loving myself and becoming more confident. I’m going to take care of me and mine. I got my family and my best friends, I know who has my back now and I’m not putting up with anyone who wants to waste my time or use me. I’m going to work in loving myself by myself instead of wishing I had a partner, and whatever happens happens. I’m going to get into the dentist and fix my fucking teeth that have been fucked up (I have so many cavities it’s awful so we’ll see how that goes), I’m going to get back on birth control so I stop feeling like garbage all the time, and I’m going to go to the doctor to figure out why I’ve been getting migraines. I need to get a skincare routine together because I’m so dry and I’m breaking out like crazy. And I need to fix my sleep schedule (yikes it’s almost 1:30am speaking of sleep schedules lmao). I got this. It’s gonna be hard but I gotta keep reminding myself that I got this.
Sorry this was so long! But I also wanted to say, I’m so thankful for all of you. Every one of you, whether we talk or not, makes me so happy. This fandom means so much to me and I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t been introduced to it. You all are so lovely and I love you SO much. I’m going to try to start making more and more content whenever I can, so I’ll keep you posted!
I hope everyone has a wonderful new year 💜
alright, so today was overall pretty good. My alarm went off at 8:15 am and I successfully convinced myself to get out of bed, so that was of course a win in itself. Got ready and caught the 9:02 bus, which put me perfectly on track to get there in time for the 10 am service since it’s almost exactly an hour commute from my apartment to the church. The bus ride is shorter early Sunday mornings of course since the roads are more clear and there are less people making stops, so by the time we got to the train station it was just about 9:25, the train plus short walk after is generally about 25 minutes. I have literally everything in my life precisely timed, which makes it that much more infuriating when Chicago public transit decides to throw a wrench in my schedule. I entered the train station, swiped my card and got up to the platform, only to find out the next train wasn’t coming for another 18 minutes now, so it wouldn’t get there until like 9:45, which doesn’t get me to church until like 10:15, meaning I’d miss most of worship and at that point I was like mmm no thanks, so I left the train station and checked the time estimations on uber and uber pool and decided I’d risk a pool to save money and hope the drive isn’t too bad. It ended up being pretty much perfect, I walked a few blocks to get picked up but from there church was the next stop so I ended up getting there at like 9:50 with time to spare before they even opened the doors to the sanctuary (they have a really short turnover time between services to make sure there are bibles and welcome cards at each seat and such so the doors generally open 5 minutes prior to the service). When I did get in I sat on the edge of the row towards the back since I was gonna try to sneak out on time to get to the huddle for the babies room for the next service since I was serving in there for then. Worship was good, the message ended up being on vulnerability and what it is and isn’t and why it’s important to show real vulnerability to those in our lives, delivered by one of my favorite members of the church board, so that was very good. when it turned 11 I snuck out to head to the kids volunteers lounge and it ended up being empty so I was like...did I mess this up? lol. It turns out I didn’t, most other people were just running late, but I got to catch up with the kids ministry pastor which was good because I’d been MIA for several weeks now (the explanation for which ended up being “I got a job and things have been really crazy” instead of the truthful “I lost the willpower to get out of bed on Sunday morning for several weeks and I’ve also been traveling a lot” just because that was an easier answer and got the job info out). so that was good at least. The babies room went well, we had a good number of employees, I had a little girl that I was handed from her parents in the door and then she refused to let me put her down the entire service so that was what I did the whole time, lol. Babies are like that sometimes in the nursery, they’ll get attached to one person and then won’t leave their side. Things were actually very calm though, I honestly don’t think there were any real crying incidents, which is a fucking miracle, even with only 5-6 babies. I’ve always said though there’s only two ways it goes in there- either everyone’s calm and playing nicely with no crying, or everyone’s screaming and something’s on fire, no in between lol. After the service I headed home and had to wait for fucking ever for a train, it was the weirdest thing, the first two trains that pulled up had both just been declared “not in service” and dumped all their passengers on the platform with no explanation, so by the time the 3rd train came like 20 minutes after I got there it was VERY crowded, but I survived and got to the bus alright. When I went to sit on the bunch for the bus stop a girl about my age came over and showed me directions on her phone and was basically like “am I in the right place??” which I assured her she was and showed her where on the sign it has the info she was looking for, because for a newbie figuring all of that out can be very difficult, and I definitely speak from experience there. It also occurred to me that there were other people waiting there but she waited for a woman about her age to come to ask because that’s a lot more comfortable than risking talking to a random man who might be a creep, so I was happy to help of course. Got home, got into comfy clothes and had some lunch, then watched a few more episodes of Designated Survivor and AH. GUYS. THIS FUCKING SHOW IS SO GOOD. The new episodes are fucking brilliant, and the way they incorporate real world unscripted interviews of actual people is so ingenuitive and actually a genius way to address social issues while maintaining a fictional environment (versus something like, Glee, where they’re trying to cover everything under the sun and shoving it all down your throat constantly). And the storylines in general are just so good, and the writing for the president is so damn good because you are always rooting for him. he has to make tough calls where there’s not always a clear right answer, but he always seems to pull it out and find the best way forward, and it’s so satisfying to see. and I LOVE KIEFER SUTHERLAND SO MUCH. god, his line at the Florida con last month was sooooo fucking long (like 2-3 hours of waiting time long) but I would’ve loved to have seen him again. Hopefully the opportunity will present itself in the near future so I can gush about how much I love the new episodes, lol. I didn’t want to binge too many of them and run out of episodes, so I stopped after episode 7 and watched more Anthony Bourdain, where he was taking on Queens, which was quite the adventure. After I finished that at some time around there Jess came over and we ordered cheesy bread as was the plan, but there was apparently some issue with the store getting swamped with orders and only having like two delivery drivers, so it took like over an hour for us to get the dang thing, but of course I’d never blame that on the poor schmuck who brought me the cheesy bread that has to run around all night to people who are probably ticked their order is late, and of course I tipped him well because the wait sure as hell wasn’t his fault. Before it arrived though, we watched some videos of some of the KPop boys’ adventures in America and Chicago specifically, mainly the one kid from outside Chicago and the one from Canada were going around with one of the ones actually from Korea (they’re all of Korean descent, they just weren’t all raised there) and taking him to like, Target and doing all sorts of amusing shit that is legit just what we would be doing if we were celebrities, so that was very amusing. Once we were finished with that we ended up buying Captain Marvel on streaming, since I’m sure as hell gonna wanna watch it again probably in the near future, so then we watched that for the rest of the night. Thoroughly enjoyed it the second time through, of course you pick up on different things knowing what’s coming so that’s always fun to see. Once the movie was over Jess headed out, and I watched another Anthony Bourdain episode and then just hung out for a bit without anything on before deciding to shower and start to get ready for bed, which I proceeded to do and now I am here. This was probably way too detailed for a day that really wasn’t all that exciting, but oh well, that’s how it comes out sometimes, no issue with that. It just turned 1:30 am so I should definitely be getting to sleep, so I will be doing that now. Goodnight loves. Hope your Monday doesn’t suck.
AND TIL THE END YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND, a bertie & tiberius mix
𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔, 𝒘𝒆 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒅.
( listen / download )
01. BROTHER de mighty oaks ( we had run around in the summer in the nighttime. we made no sound and deep in the forest we get lost. whistle to the birds as they call, go on trips, moving with weather as it shifts. we took to the seas and let it drift, how many islands could we hear? in my faded truck we shot across the country to find our luck, and the youth inside would scream and shout like a dagger in the heart we ripped it out. and we had laugh through the night, call the star's by the fire shining on through the night. we will run to the rising life and on through the night, burn the flames, the world will know our names. and i'd follow you to the end of the world if only you would ask me to. on and on we go, my brother. i've got you. nothing to stop us now, because we found in life what's true. oh my brother, i'd follow you. )
02. LIVE LIKE WE’RE DYING de kris allen ( our hearts are hungry for a food that won't come, and we could make a feast from these crumbs. so if your life flashed before you, what would you wish you would've done? yeah, we gotta start looking at the hands of the time we've been given. if this is all we got then we gotta start thinking. if every second counts on a clock that's ticking, gotta live like we're dying. )
03. STRESSED OUT de twenty one pilots ( i was told when i get older all my fears would shrink, but now i'm insecure and i care what people think. wish we could turn back time, to the good old days, when our momma sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out. )
04. HAVE IT ALL de jason mraz ( may you have the confidence to always do your best, may you take no effort in your being generous, sharing what you can, nothing more nothing less. may you know the meaning of the word happiness, may you always lead from the beating in your chest, may you be treated like an esteemed guest, may you get to rest, may you catch your breath. and may the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrows, and may the road less paved be the road that you follow. may you have unquestionable health and less stress, having no possessions though immeasurable wealth. and may you win prizes shining like diamonds, may you really own it each moment to the next. here's to the hearts that you're gonna break, here's to the lives that you're gonna change, here's to the infinite possible ways to love you. here's to the good times we're gonna have, you don’t need money, you got a free pass, here's to the fact that i'll be sad without you, i want you to have it all. )
05. FRIENDLY REMINDER de against the current ( tied flowers in the laces of my boots, this year i drained the color from my mood. i took one too many beatings, i was left broken and bleeding. i woke up and covered up my bruise. hey, hey, i feel it. hey, hey, i know it. hey, hey, i give myself a friendly reminder: remember to smile. remember the pain only lasts for a while. throw away the last year is in the past. tell it to myself right now, a friendly reminder. )
06. MY BEST FRIEND de weezer ( when everything is wrong i'll come talk to you, you make things alright when i'm feeling blue. you are such a blessing. you are my best friend and i love you, and i love you, yes i do. there is no other one that can take your place, i feel happy inside when i see your face. i hope you believe me, because i speak sincerely and i mean it when i tell you i need you. i'm here right beside you, i will never leave you, and i feel the pain you feel when you start crying. )
07. TIME TO PRETEND de mgmt ( i'm feeling rough i'm feeling raw i'm in the prime of my life. we've got the vision, now let's have some fun. yeah it's overwhelming, but what else can we do? get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute? forget about our mothers and our friends, we were fated to pretend. but there is really nothing, nothing we can do, love must be forgotten. life can always start up anew. )
08. LIVE FOREVER de oasis ( maybe i just wanna fly, want to live i don't wanna die. maybe i just wanna breathe, maybe i just don't believe. maybe you're the same as me, we see things they'll never see. you and i are gonna live forever. )
09. ARE WE THERE YET de ingrid michaelson ( they say you're really not somebody until somebody else loves you. well, i am waiting to make somebody, somebody soon. and are we there yet? home, home, home. )
10. I WON’T LET GO de rascal flatts ( i will stand by you, i will help you through, when you've done all you can do and you can't cope. i will dry your eyes, i will fight your fight, i will hold you tight and i won't let go. it hurts my heart to see you cry, i know it's dark this part of life, oh it finds us all. you're gonna make it, yeah i know you can make it. )
11. RHYMES AND REASONS de john denver ( so you speak to me of sadness and the coming of the winter, the fear that is within you now that seems to never end, and the dreams that have escaped you and the hope that you've forgotten, and you tell me that you need me now and you want to be my friend. and you wonder where we're going, where's the rhyme and where's the reason? and it's you cannot accept: it is here we must begin to seek the wisdom of the children, and the graceful way of flowers in the wind. in their innocence and trusting they will teach us to be free. and the song that i am singing is a prayer to non-believers, come and stand beside us we can find a better way. )
12. BROTHER de gerard way ( and brother if you have the chance to pick me up? and can i sleep on your couch to the pound of the ache and pain? oh, in my head 'cause i'm awake all night long to the drums of the city rain. the lights we chase, the nights we steal, the things that we take to make us feel this. i can't go back, don't think i will. i won't sleep tonight as long as i still hear the drums of the city rain. 'cause the nights don't last, and we leave alone. will you drive me back? can you take me home? remember when you and i would make things up? so many nights, just take me down to the place we could hear them play. i miss that sound, 'cause now we don't sing so loud to the drums of the city rain. )
13. SUMMER SKELETONS de radical face ( we were sun-burned and shoeless kids, it was the dead of july. we were skippin' stones in the failing light, i smelled the fire place. although we were miles away, we were infinite, there was no time in those days. when our heads were still simple, we'd sleep beneath the moon. you were something that would always be around. when regrets were nowhere to be found. we were both laughing then, while carving bad words in the wood. we had no need to speak. night, down by the shore, we were down by the shore. when the skies opened up, and all the stars fell into the lake. when the water was warm, walked in over my head, but you pulled me out by the collar of my shirt. dirt in our ears, sun in our eyes, shirts hung in rags, head in the clouds. our fears had no teeth, hearts were still blind. )
14. GOOD TIMES de all time low ( on a fault line late night, underneath the stars we came alive, and singing to the sky just felt right, i won't forget the good times. remember how we laughed 'til we cried, i won't forget the good times. when we laughed, when we cried, those were the days we owned the nights. i never want to leave this sunset town, but one day the time may come. and i'll take you at your word and carry on, i'll hate the goodbye but i won't forget the good times. )
15. LEAN ON ME de bill withers ( lean on me when you're not strong. i'll be your friend, i'll help you carry on. for it won't be long 'til i'm gonna need somebody to lean on. you just call on me, brother, when you need a hand. we all need somebody to lean on. if there is a load you have to bear, that you can't carry, i'm right up the road, i'll share your load if you just call me. )
16. DON’T FORGET WHO YOU ARE de miles kane ( the finest clothes that you can find, dressed in my coat, i'm feeling fine, i wanna shine. i'll shine so hard, i'll stand up high. these foolish ways, i know my place, my time is now, my time is now. although we're tongue-tied and breathless, we won't let our worries dictate who we are. throw out the old doubts, we won't let our worries dictate who we are. don't forget who you are. )
17. TRUE COLORS de cyndi lauper ( you with the sad eyes, don't be discouraged, oh i realice it's hard to take courage in a world full of people, you can lose sight of it all, and the darkness inside you can make you feel so small. but i see your true colors shining through. i see your true colors and that's why i love you. so don't be afraid to let them show your true colors, true colors are beautiful like a rainbow. if this world makes you crazy and you've taken all you can bear, you call me up because you know i'll be there. )
18. JOKE de chastity belt ( nothing's serious, everything's a joke when we smoke, it's all in smoke. i feel fine, when we're high. getting better at forgetting everything that's heaviest, all a joke when we smoke. we laugh so hard, and then we cry, let's light everything on fire. )
19. MY WISH de rascal flatts ( if it’s cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile, but more than anything, more than anything my wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to. your dreams stay big, your worries stay small. you never need to carry more than you can hold. and while you’re out there gettin’ where you’re gettin’ to, i hope you know somebody loves you and wants the same things too. i hope you always forgive and you never regret, and you help somebody every chance you get. )
20. A.M. de one direction ( feels like this could be forever tonight, break these clocks, forget about time. there could be a world war three goin' on outside. you and me were raised in the same part of town, got these scars on the same ground, remember how we used to kick around just wasting time? feels like this could be forever right now, don't wanna sleep cause we're dreaming out loud. trying to behave but you know that we never learned how. won't you stay 'til the a.m.? all my favourite conversations always made in the a.m. 'cause we don't know what we're saying, we're just swimming round in our glasses and talking out of our asses, like we're all gonna make it. )
21. THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND de andrew gold ( thank you for being a friend, traveled down the road and back again. your heart is true,you're a pal and a confidant. i'm not ashamed to say i hope it always will stay this way, my hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow. and if you threw a party, invited everyone you knew, you would see, the biggest gift would be from me, and the card attached would say thank you for being a friend. and when we both get older, with walking canes and hair of gray, have no fear, even though it's hard to hear, i will stand real close and say thank you for being a friend. and when we die and float away into the night, the milky way, you'll hear me call, as we ascend, i'll see you there, then once again, thank you for being a friend. )
22. I LIVED de one republic ( hope when the moment comes, you'll say i, i did it all. i owned every second that this world could give, i saw so many places, the things that i did, with every broken bone, i swear i lived. )
╰ ❄ feliz navidad y año nuevo, emma.
Ola, soy yo otra vez xoxo. Esto me salió más gay de lo acordado mmm... quizá mi subconsciente piensa que Tibby y Bertie son endgame, quizá mi subconsciente los shippea, no lo sé, yo sólo lo hice. Quise abarcar desde como se drogan juntos, hasta sus estupideces, pasando por las ganas de ambos de encontrar alguien a quien amarsss, cruzando por sus ansias de descubrir el mundo y ser felices y del coming out de Tibby. Intenté evitar a toda costa meter canciones pop, aunque una que otra entró, es sólo que no me imaginaba el mix pop, ¿sabes? Si no más alternativo, porque siento que así es su onda. También toqué temas como lo que la familia de Tibby espera de él y los traumas del Bertie, ahí todo mezcladito.
Espero que te guste muuuucho y seas feliz con él. Ya te hice una carta grande en el otro regalo así que aquí sólo seré cortita. Felices fiestas, bebé, i luv u.
Y recuerda, lamer picaportes es ilegal en otros planetas.
"Can you please a scenario the DR1 girls s/o is killed off and their killer insults their s/o are being useless or something in that sort?"
So I'm going to pick a killer to insult S/O (because then I could make it more accurate to the killers character). Hopefully you enjoy it! -Mod Capricorn Kyoko Kirigiri: -When she manages to put together all of the clues, her deductions concluded that you were killed by Celeste. -When Makoto comes to the same conclusion, she's looking at Celeste for an explanation. -Celeste freaks out. -Your murderer was insulted that Kyoko saw something special in you that nobody else had. -"Kyoko, dear. Why do you always go with the blandest of personalities to go with?" Celeste queried. -"Are you implying that S/O was bland?" The girl answered. -"Oh no, not at all." Celeste responds. "What I am meaning to say is that she didn't deserve you. You don't deserve to be with such a plain individual. Even Makoto has more personality, and he doesn't even have a talent." She corrects this with a giggle. "Oh wait, you don't know your talent either, do you?" -Makoto chimes in, trying to get Celeste to respect the dead. -Kyoko doesn't speak until the next morning. She's heartbroken that you were killed because someone didn't see what she saw in you. -When she gets to her room after the trial, accompanied by Makoto, she thanks him for escorting her to her room. -When she closes the door, tears stream down her face. She makes no sounds, but she's feeling like her chest is going tight. -She lost you. You weren't coming back. She couldn't protect you. Aoi Asahina: -When Byakuya Togami was found guilty, he's still in denial, not listening to Makoto or Kyoko when they point out every single clue that made him the culprit. -He eventually cracks under the pressure, turning to Asahina. -"Your "darling S/O" certainly didn't deserve to win this game." He spits out. "You see, they really thought that they deserved love, even from you." He sneered. -At this point, Asahina is on the brink of tears. She quietly asks him one question. -"Why did you kill them?" -"It's quite simple, so you'll understand." Byakuya begins. "They were an easy target. After all, they were stupid enough to date you. Additionally, they decided to bring my weapon to me. Imbecile." -She can't even respond to that comment. Why would dating her make you stupid? And why did you get him the weapon? -Once the execution is over with, Asahina doesn't even talk to the others. She headed straight for her room. -She can't sleep at night. You technically died because of her. All she can do is stare at her figure in the mirror, feeling nothing but despair build up within her core. Sakura Oogami: -Sakura was supposed to meet up with you and Asahina. -She was going to show up on time, but someone else had to talk to her about something. -So when she does arrive later than expected, she doesn't expect to see Asahina forcing poison down your throat. -She's rushing over to her, pleading her not to do this. -But it was too late. Your body was losing its pulse slowly. -"Why did you do that?" She painfully lets out, holding onto your hand as you were leaving. -"We had an argument, and she was saying disrespectful things about you!" Asahina admitted. -Sakura was curious. What was Asahina offended about on Sakura's behalf. -"I mean, they were saying that they made you feel loved. Wasn't it obvious that you didn't need someone that made you physically embarrassed?" Asahina explained. -Sakura didnt respond to her comment, she simply grunted and caressed your hand for your last moments alive. -You died. Her closest friend was going to be gone. All because of a disagreement. Celestia Ludenberg: -She was helping more with finding clues for the case - it was the only way she could find justice for you. -When she was in your room, she found a piece of material that she noticed that one of the students had. It was a piece of Touko's dress. -She confronted the girl with the fabric she discovered when she was with Kyoko. -"T-t-that's n-not my m-material..." She denied. -Celeste thought that maybe she wasn't sure because the other side of her committed the crime. -So she sneezes. -"What's up bitches? Missed me?" Genocider gleams. -"Enough of your introduction, tell me whether or not you committed this crime!" Togami boomed out. He knew she was at least the prime suspect. -"Oh, that gullible person that's dating madam edge lord? Yup!" She admits. "Did my lame side deny putting the poor girl over there out of the misery of dating that git? How boring." -Celeste gives a blank look at her. Touko clearly wanted her to freak out, it was obvious. -She doesn't look at the execution either. She merely looked at the reactions of Togami. She noticed a glimmer of despair in his eyes. -After the trial, she goes to her room. -She doesn't speak - she knew that nobody went out of their way for the reaction, and it wouldn't be like she was crying. -She doesn't care for interactions that much - she lost meaning when you were gone. Touko Fukawa: -When she's confronting Hagakure about killing you, he's spluttering out a series of words that didn't mean much. -"I mean, they were crazy enough to enjoy your company, right? Maybe the evidence is circumstantial and you're the killer!" He blurted out, gesturing to Touko. -The court became deathly silent. Uncomfortably silent. -Touko goes to make herself sneeze. "Is that so? They were really that crazy?" -Hagakure, being the coward he was, took back the remark. -Touko never really spoke to Togami after the trial. He never spoke up when she thought he would. He didn't care for you. It seemed like the only person who wanted justice for you was her herself. Although Makoto managed to get justice, he clearly didn't want to find out that Hagakure was the culprit. Sayaka Maizono: -Leon was the culprit for the case. -After Makoto stated how the crime was committed, the idol was shocked. You guarded her, and you unfortunately were overpowered by Leon. -Leon originally tried to argue Makoto was the killer because of the name plates, but Sayaka explained she changed them. -Leon had no arguments. -Giving up on making arguments, he turned to insults. -"You know,Sayaka. You deserved better than someone who would never appreciate you. I mean, how would your friends feel? They weren't even close to being you!" He emphasised. -"...Is that so?" Sayaka queried. "Maybe they saw something that a fan wouldn't. They saw a person." Sayaka silently stated. Only Makoto heard what she said. -"Wanna speak up?" Leon blurted out. "Maybe you did commute the crime!" -"No! That's wrong!" Makoto debated. "Sayaka cared too much about S/O to kill them like that!" -Leon reaches out to attack him, but Monokuma dragged him away. Mukuro Ikusaba: -When Makoto argued that Junko killed you, she didn't want to admit this to be true. -She wouldn't listen to his points, she simply asked Junko why. -A smirk radiated Junko's face. -"Why, because statistically, that disgusting thing was going to make you lazy. They dragged the group down. They only brought around icky hope! Yuck!" She laughs out. -Mukuro was feeling the despair that Junko loved so much, but they didn't respond to the comment. Junko Enoshima: -Sigh. The most predictable comment to have left any killers lips. -Really? S/O was boring? Why did Junko want to keep them alive until the end? -So she decides to create more despair from the situation, reeking of insults that were cleve enough to tear the culprit apart from the inside. -The look on the persons face was enough for hope boy to feel pity for the person as well. -"It's punishment time!"
